So she's making Chuck a main character now? She's prob kicking herself for not having created the whole CHAIR thing.

Oh wow.
Just out of interest...what's the point in this?
Like....why? Just because it's hardcover?
But yeah I think Chuck as a main character is NEEDED after the show.
And Dan and Jenny don't get a mention? Haha.
I think this is very odd.
I can't beleive she didn't do the Chair thing!
She made them kiss once in the books too, that would of been PERFECT to launch it.
How could she not of saw the potential?

Erm, if she has written a new book, she would have to do the chair thing.
That would just be copying the show and wouldn't be as good, cos we've already seen it.
I mean I love Chair, but really she wouldn't be able to do it now, without it just being the same.
And no more N/B/S reading please.
That would suck.
Wiki says-
I Will Always Love You will center on the return of the original cast of characters, including Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Serena van der Woodsen, and Nate Archibald. Jenny Humphrey, once a main character within the novels, is not expected to return, as she resides at Waverly Academy in her own spin-off series, The It Girl.
To date, it is uncertain whether or not this new installment has been ghostwritten or if Cecily Von Ziegesar wrote it herself. Furthermore, it is known that the Carlyle triplets live in Blair's ex-penthouse, leaving her living arrangements uncertain. It is also uncertain if the story will be a new beginning for Blair, Nate, and Serena or just a one-time revival. As stated in Don't You Forget About Me, Serena had never left Manhattan after graduation while in Gossip Girl: The Carlyles, Chuck had never left Manhattan to go to military school. These two plotlines further contradicts the advertisment. Advertisements have yet to reveal whether or not Daniel Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams will return.

OMG I would be so excited if that is true!! I absolutely love the books, though they are very different from the show. I love them for what they are. Chair wouldn't work with the books. I hope she doesn't do that. Oh I'm excited. The carlyles aren't nearly as good.Posted 2/12/2009 7:49:30 PM #

Daniela
have you read the books? if you have you know chair in the books would be HORRIBLE! cecily would not be kicking herself for not doing chair because in the books, it would have majorly sucked. she didn't see the potential because there was none.
book chuck is GAY for a start and he wears women's ski suits, has a pet monkey he dresses to match him and sits on his shoulder. he also hits on dan and nate.
and the show and the books are SEPARATE. they don't need to make chuck main just because of the show, just like the show doesn't make nate/serena happen just for the books. i love CB in the show, but the books...ikk she was meant to be with nate.
if there is a book im soo excited to read it!!

heyy don't diss on the books they're awesome :D atm they're better than the show because they don't have people dying, getting love childs/half brothers and secret societies which no one cares about.
