I've heard that she's more palatable in the movies she's done.
Or maybe she hates this show? I heard someone said shes execellent in THE TOWN

Okay I take it back then. If anything, Chace and Taylor are in the same boat. And everyone can agree that Jessica is the worst. Blake, however, is better than all three.
Again, let's consider the material they have to work with.
Blake has had to work with a range of scenes, including being a biatch and a "slut," fighting and making up with Blair which are very touching scenes, having to deal with daddy issues, and having to deal with Georgina. All of these require a rather wide set of emotions/expressions. I'm not saying she's an amazing actor, but I think she's done pretty well with all the things thrown at her.
Taylor always has the same snotty, stuck-up look on her face like she's smelling something bad. She has three types of scenarios: whine, rebel in anger, be sarcastic.
I think Chace is actually improving. I think he did pretty well in the "of course I loved you" scene with Serena and the comic relief scene with Blair about Chuck's cellphone. The first scene made me go "aww" and the second made me laugh. Jenny has made me do neither.

The "of course I loved you" is the line though. That's just a nice line. Anyone, regardless of their acting chops could say that and make people go "aww". That is...if they ship the couple...cause I certainly didn't say aww.
But I agree with you about Blake. I love the girl. Maybe I'm naturally biased about her acting because I love her so much. haha blinded by my love.

I like Serenate. True it could have been played out in a better way but I still like them.

I think your negative view of Jenny is impacting the way you view Taylor as an actress. Chuck may annoy me a lot of the time but I would never say that Ed is a shitty actor.

I agree. Jenny/Taylor had some really emotional scenes and I have to admit she was very good in them.
The problem with Nate's character is that he has no real story. Whenever he has a scene is either in a relationship with someone or with a friend ( dan, chuck).

I think rgabriella must be watching a different show to me. Jenny's had one of the widest emotional ranges of any of the characters. As for Taylor only having the one facial expression, here's some evidence that's really nowhere near true:

lol Thankyou and I agree! Taylor for her age (but imo for any age) is quite good at what she does! she's acting with people that are way older than her and she still manages to make her SL's interesting and pull people in like she's doing now! that's talent! everything she's been given on this show she's nailed! whether it be Naive Jenny, Sweet Jenny, sarcastic Jenny, Bitchy Jenny, fun Jenny, Manipulative jenny, shy Jenny etc she's done them all and she's nailed them all and make them believable! she's good! so stop hating hater! Taylor thanks you for taking your time out on her though!
