Open Minded Chair Fans
-
I have been recently aplauded (as soon as 20 minutes ago) for being an Open minded Chair fan. And just wondered if others thought the same way too?
I just wondered what Chair fans complaints are about the couple. Or if you think they should break up, to make it more interesting.
Does no one want to see another air couple,
- Dair
- Jair
- Even Nair again
Even if it means saying it against Chuck and Blair
Was it really that big of a deal that Nate and Blair were together near the end of season 2, or that Chuck kissed a guy?

Neither of those were big deals to me. I am definitely an open minded CB fan. If CB are going to be endgame, why not make the journey interesting?

Exactly, season 2 was all about the game. We need that back. Even if it means them breaking up, and one of them being with some one else.

AHHHHH DAIR, i had to disguise this thread as this just so i could bring up Dair (jokes). Love it Love it Love it. It just seems so outrageous, and yet amazing.
It has to happen.

It does. The potential with these two is overwhelming and nearly tangible. I used to be a closed-minded Chair fan, and said I found no potential or foreshadowing with Dair, but when I met Gwen and FA, I kind of stepped back and discovered the awesomeness that emanates from the possibility. I don't care which in endgame now, although I used to - I always wanted Chair endgame. But now I see that Dair can work as a couple, and they can be great, bringing with them their wit, natural bickering, and chemistry.
I don't see how the writers never thought to do Dair. The greatest love triangle of all time would have been Serena/Blair/Dan; I can just see it happening. And the drama that would explode when they got together would be perfect to bring the show back to its original epicness. A Chuck/Blair/Dan triangle or a Dan/Blair/Serena triangle - either would be exactly what the show needs. However, the writers are fucking idiots.
i saw potential in dair back in early season 2 when (or so I thought) the writers were setting up a potential chuck and dan fued. AND when i saw how cute bitchy blair was towards dan and how she was the same kind of cute bitchy towards chuck in season 1. so i more or less saw it on my own. never been a close minded chair fan though. it took me long enough to ship them in the first place loll

i only have a problem with dair, i think both caracters would need to change a lot for the relationship to work, blair is a bitch and i really cant see her being one with dan, but that's my opinion. to each their own. really wouldnt mind carter/blair or nair again. i wouldnt say i ship them but i know at some point chair is gonna break up and someone else will have to get in the mix. as long as chair is endgame and have a nice and not contrived journey i am fine. i dont know about jack, i dont like that he is chuck's uncle so i dont think i want blair to sleep with him again,

Okay, I'm going to repeat my post from the other thread:
I loved Nair. But I also like Chair. I'd be also up for some Dair action after the inevitable C/B break up.
At this point, I would actually ship every relationship involving Blair as long as it isn't as boring as Chair at the moment.
Jair, Airon, PJair, Carair, and whatever else.
And I also say this again: If Connor would get a growth spurt and would be taller than Leighton, so Blair&Eric would become my new fav AU couple.

chair is getting stale. we need the game back. and chuck isn't bad-ass like he was in s1. now he's too...clean and noble.
we need it so they play a game where they u know, play The Game and still be together and whoever gets the other one to cave-in to the other wins and they both get WHAS. Then it goes to the next harder round. It's a hot win-win.

That depends on what you mean with close-minded. Cause I'm a Chair fans who wants to see them together first and foremost, and wouldn't be happy if they broke up. But for example I don't see Dair as "epic fail", mostly since they've never happened. I'm a little conflicted about this, cause I'm not hoping that they'll happen, but at the same time I don't think it'll be comletely awful if they do.

Then it goes to the next harder round.
And here we go again! The problem in this playing is that there's always one loser at the end. And it's usually Blair, so thanks but no thanks. I'd rather have them broke up for a season (they are endgame, we know that by now) than a suffering, whiny Blair and a heartless, douchebag Chuck again.
