Rational support for Dair

   Dair fans keep popping into other forums, but I have yet to see anyone give a sensible reason why that coupling would make any sense at all. Maybe there's something there, or some sort of potential or something that I'm just not seeing, but I would really like someone to explain to me why they ship that coupling, or at least why it would make sense for someone to ship it.

   hmm i couldn't see the sense of it. i don't ships dair at all. in fact i wouldn't and feel sick about it.

   Yeah I don't ship them either, I think it would be a tragedy if they got together. This may sound extremely weird, but everytime someone in this forum talks about how great dair would be, I get so nervous thinking the producers might see it and actually pair them up lol.

   It's funny you can barely go to a Nair or Chair thread without tripping over them, but there are none to be found in an actual Dair thread.

   i used to ship dair in season 1, i think they would make sense at the time, but now, 2 seasons later and with the way the caracters have been estabilished i really cant picture them in a relationship,  unless the writers totally change them, it would be a disaster. i dont think dan understands or accept blair, hell, he keeps changing his opinion about her constantly. if they got together he would try to change her and judge her

   that's my biggest problem with dair, i think both caracters would need to change a lot to work on a relationship. just no, please

   so true, i really dont get dair fans argument that dan understands her. like, really? is just someone say something bad about her that he will change his mind and try to sabotage her. this has already happened twice. if he really understood and knew her he would understand where she was coming from and why she was acting the way she was

   same, people can call me closed mind or whatever, but i would have no more reason to watch the show. i am really disliking how NYU is taking way too much the UES aspect of the show, if dair happened, i think the show would totally lose it.

    Am I to assume then that they are just being contrary when they bring the pairing up in unrelated threads and nobody actually ships them?
