   Ivie- the thing is its not pure simple love - it never is on gossip girl. The writers have started Dair under a cloud, with Dan hiding the fact that he sent the video to Gossip Girl , its actually the writers way of giving themselves an out. Just like they always do, these writers have anihilated all couples on the show and we have a year and a half to go so I can't see them writing any pure , simple love it will be the usual angst. If they wanted it to be pure and simple, then they shouldn't have written Dan as the person sending the tape , but they need drama

   havent been watching the show since like mid-season 4, but i still noticed Penn's hair.

   WTF! VANESSA IS GONE SO THEY DECIDED TO GIVE THAT HAIR TO PENN! WTF.

   Just that it isn't pure and simple love. I actually do not detest the Dair sl as much as I thought I would. But I think it'll ruin the show at least.

   Five years of watching a gret love leaves us Chair and Derena fans in the position we are in now, so I wouldn't hold too much faith in those writers - God knows we have been burned enough times

   Question: With who will Dan end up with once this storyline is through? I mean, we all know that Dair can't last, Serena and CHuck would never forgive them and Blair loves them too much to hurt them too long. So, after that, what's Dan thinking will happen? He's going to be all alone. That's kind of sad.
