I didn't think it was as entertaining as it usually is. I wonder if they got someone else to do it this week.

by herself ... why would Rufus and Lily believe the piece of paper she produced was real?
Because Dan talked to the doctor over the phone. But i'm sure that is from the help of scheming G but still. If I talked to a doctor I'd believe it. Rufus was skeptical the whole time, he even told Dan they'd do their own test, but Dan said that the dates match up. Rufus is still skeptical.

I don't think it had anything to do with money. She needed the certificate signed because Milo is probably some Russian mob guy's son and she needed someone to sign the certificate to prove the Russian guy wasn't the father. I believe G was telling the truth when she was talking to Lily, she wants him to have a good life and knows that leaving him with the Humphrey's is for the best. That could always change though but i think she felt like she was doing the right thing by leaving him with them.

The whole thing seems farfetched to me. This entire time they built Dan up super smart and super intuitive. Yet, here he drops the ball completely. IDK why he'd transition so easily to this shit either. It's only been like what 3 months in between the last time we saw them? How the frig is the baby that big even?

Georgina telling people to refill her drink or they'd be fired Plus 1 because even Jesus couldn't make G polite.
Vanessa hoping Dan wouldn't mention Georgina's GeorGINA Minus 25 because Vanessa said it, and it was gross and unnecessary.
Blair pushing Serena into a fountain Plus 1 because Serena was starting to get annoying.

He's a guy! a young guy! It's not a secret that Dan is book smart but not exactly street smart. Also do you think he seriously meant that? Obviously you can't drop them! If Dan wasn't stressed out and he knew everything there was to know about babies people would still argue that Dan is too young to just know everything. He's suppose to be freaking out a little and that was their way of showing it. As for the Georgina thing, it's not new that Dan trusts people, he believes G for what ever reason and he told her he wouldn't sign the paper until he got a test, she claimed she got the test and he talked to the doctor. It's a little contrived yes but still nobody would believe that G could get a doctor to lie assuming he really is a doctor. And it doesn't matter Rufus is getting a blood test.

well, i was actually referring to the time when the scripst leaked, because when you only read a plain dialogue, it's sometimes hard to get the right tone, and tone of the voice is pretty important for the context.
what i am really hating on in the episode must be Blair. WHY, WRITERS? she keeps being all whiny and... sigh.
i agree that it is better than season three, however it's really not that hard to beat season three.

I agree but still, I was worried this would be another season 3 disaster so i'm quite pleased. Blair was quite whiney but I was still annoyed at Serena being the rational one. Why do they always make her the one that forgives Blair and fixes everything? If Serena pushed Blair in the fountain nothing would stop B from packing and leaving, she'd hold a grudge. I think the whininess is just part of Blair's character now.

agreed whole-heartedly.
that show has become so predictable, it settled down on stereotypes, it's probably why it's not as much fun as it used to be.
yet, the episode was still better than season three. and Paris is gorgeous.

I don't get how Dan hid his baby, weren't Rufus and Lily worried at all? i mean texts and phone calls might be enough but not seeing your son for (idk ) 3 months (milo looked three months old) and how come Blair is STILL jealous of Serena, i though Blair was over all that crap, if she wanted to be her own person why didn't she be more mature or even smarter, IF MY bff wanted to go to the same college as me i would not have pushed her into a fountain even if she (my bff) was changing her mind ever 2 seconds.
Nate is an idiot for sleeping with every whore in town and treating them like they are NOT whore, yesss Nate they will party at your room if you took them to a nice resturant.

point is, this episode was full of loopholes.
the only things i liked were Juliet and Louis
i really liked Louis, he was cute and a gentleman to Blair. if blair did not act like a child she would have gotten on a second date without whatever-she-is-gonna-do next week.
