Apples? Apples is the least of it. How about River Song is in prison because she killed the Doctor (presumably), however when she actually witnesses herself kill the Doctor she doesn't know / remember that it is her doing the killing even though it is because of that killing that she had to break out from the prison to enjoy the picnic with the Doctor where she had the pleasure of watching herself...well kill the Doctor. I'm not even going to go into the whole while River was watching herself kill the love of her life, she just so happened to be in the company of her mother who was pregnant with her (River that is) at the time.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...

it's been hinted he'll die (again) in the finale, and what if the greatest man river ever knew was her father?
AND WHAT WAS IN THE DOCTOR'S ROOM
also, i think he started the silence-because no one hates the doctor more than the doctor

Hmm, Tibby, you raise interesting points.
According to the latest confidential, River does seem to be the one to kill the Doctor. HOWEVER, what if there are 2 astronauts? And only one of them is River Song? Moffat does like doubles.

i think a doctor double is killed
the ganger, maybe, or, something went wrong with the reboot or there's two doctors in two different time streams
because there's been so much pointing towards the doctor not being the doctor.
mirrors and numbers-they mean something
also, prisoner zero-the pandorica will open and silence will fall. well, it's not as if they've fallen yet, have they?

i know tibby, i know. i simply gave up making sense of any of it. but i'm not giving up on watching it. too good.
i think the doctor does get killed to be honest, but then maybe somehow he gets ressurected? ressurections are not that uncommon on this show.

The main thing that concerns me is that there's only one episode. What are the odds that everything's going to be completely solved? I don't want to be dangled too long. There has to be a limit to the number of cliffhangers that a series can take. (I don't mean crappy cliffhangers that are no brainers).

I read a theory on tumblr that apple-eating Doctor is a ganger doctor. They mentioned that he also solves a rubik's cube in The God Complex, something he had unable to do in an earlier episode. They also pointed out that the "You've redecorated! I don't like it!" bit in Closing Time is a call back to the Second Doctor, and that they've previously shown Ganger doctor quoting Old Who, so it could be a hint.
But yeah, I"m basically awaiting Saturday, ready to be moffucked.
