yeah it is so wrong of Dan and Blair to do anything in Blair's home but it was fine for Serena and Ben to do whatever they were doing in Dan's. I can see Serena trying to explain to Dan that even though he is the love of her life, all 20 years of it, that when she chose Nate, then chose Colin, then Ben, then waited for him to move on and fall for someone else that she was just confused and really wants him.

First of all, it's Blair's house not Serena's, so it's not the same. Blair can do whatever she wants at her place with whomever she wants. Serena pretty much disregarded the fact that it was Dan's house, not Ben's. Second of all, Serena pretty much gave Blair her blessing in regards to her being with Dan. All Serena did was to go from one flower to another like a bee. She never appreciated Dan until she saw him lost.

The situations cannot be compared. Because Ben and Dan were not best friends. Blair is Serena's friend, her BEST friend, and that is what makes it awful.
Secondly, I am getting over the convenient way some people look over the fact that Serena realized she loved Dan still after she went through her past relationships. It was restrospection, and THAT is why it happened. Not because he fell for Blair, that happened for the sake of drama.

I'm not talking about who appreciates Dan more. I just commented on such post because it says

That's right, they weren't friends. But still, it wasn't right for the two of them to live together. Besides, Serena could have at LEAST asked Dan if it was OK for him to live with Ben. Second, Serena DID sleep with her BFF's boyfriend. That makes it OK for you?
