   That's my new endgame. 

   With Jenny gone, I think this is the best possible way to play out. 

   Those four could be so fantastic!

   Yes M, I have to say I wish that too. Though I usually don't like to use the word "endgame", I really think that Dan and Blair are so alike and that they share as many interests as Nate and Serena do. 

   Actually I could have a theory: if usually the season premiere mirrors the finale, it is fair to say that the series finale might mirror s1, ending in a way that concludes each character's path. Well, in the beginning there was the four of them, but Nate, although with Blair, already had a lot going on with Serena, and Dan, although fond of Serena, had this special bond with Blair, that always seemed like he could talk and share more with her than everyone else. From then on, Dan and Blair have changed a lot, and become, well, really close - close enough to kiss each other - while i'd say Serena and Nate have remained pretty much the same and what was between them hasn't changed either.

   I don't know, it's just a theory. I remember that the first time I thought that these two couples, Serenate and Dair, looked right together (more than the actual couples on the screen, Derena and Nair), I think it was in 1x02 at the brunch scene: the undeniable attraction between Serenate, and that vibe between Dair, when Blair shake Dan's hand and they bond over being both caring, and loyal, chasing a dream and being betrayed.

   Well, I'd be happy with Dair saving us from the overwhelming tedium of the never-ending Chair storyline, but I fear that Serenate would be just as dull and repetitive as Chair, so I vote down that side of the proposition.

   You know, I shipped Serenate pretty damn hard before the second half of season three.

   So I would not mind this.

    I love Dair! Don't get me wrong I love Serenate The Golden couple. IMO I think Serena is best suited with Carter
