    ok i'm not gonna lie, in that scene with maureen (his wife? i had no idea this was her name) and GRANDFATHER (yeah i laugh everytime they say this).. i thought it was gonna come out that the two have an affair and are plotting against tripp. wow my mind is seriously messed up.

    also, love STRIPP (mad props PIP for the name) and tripp his hot.

    Yeah, with that line at the end of the episode it does seem like they were suggesting that Trip and Serena were going to have an affair.

    At the end of the promo u can hear tripp's voice and he says "This was a huge mistake" or something to that effect.

    Oh man, even Gosisp Girl knows better when she said "There are some lines you should never cross" '

    again, those aren't the exact words but you know what I mean  :-)

    Maureen reminds me of Rachel Gatina from OTH, mainly with her man for the money & prestige, and a ballsy uber bitch to boot. lol.  Oh Serena should watch out when Maureen learns her meal ticket to ride is being trumped by some blonde.  

    I wonder if Tripp and Nate's Aunt Gloria will ever appear? lol!

    Possibly, but wasn't the S2 Grandfather episode filmed at the Vanderbilt Mansion?

    Anyway why distance yourself from a family this classic? lol!

    I liked 'em. Tripp's wife sounds a bit evil, at least, Tripp is actually good-intentioned and he probably shouldn't be with someone so scheming. And perhaps he would help Serena mature.
