   Makes no sense whatsover.  I could see them doing a second wedding in NYC after being married in Monaco, but definitely not before.  Truth be told, I don't really want this wedding, PERIOD.  I hope it's a nightmare/dream sequence for Blair.

   In high society the father of the bride usually pays for and hosts the wedding.  I guess the need to host the wedding somewhere close to both the bride's and groom's families might be a reason why there is so much inbreeding in the aristocracy.

    But this is not high society this is royalty, i mean all the european royal families (england, spain norway, blah blah) use to go to the weddings...

     

    anyway this has no sense, no matter if you are "blair waldorf" even grace kelly got married in monaco...  my conclusion is that they think we are dumbs
