Vmec we are on the same page. I love my friend dearly. She took me in when I was new to my town and I am very grateful to her. I don't hate B either I just cant justify her actions. Like I said I would never be her friend. S was pretty bad in the past and ended up sleeping with Nate out of being drunk and stupid I might add but she was truely sorry and did whatever it took to change her life around. Most of season one S has worked really hard to be there for B and yet she still through that accident in her face. I am sorry but revenge isn't always the answer. Sometimes it makes you a lower person then the person who wronged you. Be the bigger person.

Being bitchy is Blair's coping mechanisim, everyone has one, it's doesn't justify what she does but it makes it hell of alot more understandable, and in real life I would never bother with someone like her, but she is fascinating charecter, very enjoyable and entertaining, , and I do agree with you, in real life, I myself would be friends with some one nice, like vannessa over blair, but for entertainment purposes, Blair is my faverite charecter. And by the way, I'm probably going to regret telling you this, but I'm thirteen...

Well 13 year old I love the show to because it is a guilty pleasure but as a girl in her early twenties I don't care if B bitchyness is her coping mechanism. As we all can have one but you need to grow up and get over it. It is hard believe me but you are never going to feel better if you deal with your problems in a better way.

To be honest, this argument isn't making me mad, and I feel as though in the two posts I've made [three if you include this one :D] in this thread, I've held my end of the argument up reasonably well, so I don't feel the need to grow up as I'm much more mature than the majority of girls my age, I was just trying to make B's actions more understanable to you, I've already said I don't condone her actions, and I've said her actions are mostly wrong, and I think the way she copes is wrong to, and I have never took the problems in my past out on my friends, nor will I ever, and tbh, I think this has gone a little off topic :D And my spelling mistakes are more to do with a sticky keyboard than bad gramma!

This is totally off topic but: for those of you who are 15 and younger how many of you girls are NOT virgins?

I'm just super curious and as an older fan... I just wonder why young girls like 13/14 are so into the show? I mean I know they're "supposed" to be in highschool but I don't even see drama like this in my mid-20's! And I'd never ever let my 14yr old daughter watch stuff like this! Just want a few young girls thoughts on this.

To tell you truth ... I am a Serena lover .. like totally but being Queen S and bitchy

doesnt fit her. In my opinion, the whole bitchy is Blair thing really as Kellie and she is

so right .. being bitchy Blair's coping mechanisim it helps her hide her insercurities

and her coping with ever so complicated life and the competitive world that she lives

in.

Exactly! The bitchyness Blairs thing but I like Serena better because she learned how to be nice. S learns from her mistakes and B doesn't. Blairs coping mechanisim is not healthy at all.

What is it with you people? It is not as if gossipgirl is all about sex? Why can't young girls look at the show? Why? It is about intrigue, friends, money, parties, etc.. I'm 19, so it is not about me. But I think younger girls also can look at the show, no problem about me. Everything that happens in the show had already been in the thoughts when you guys was in that ages? Or, am I wrong?... One thing I have to add, you can't watch the show if you are a virgin? Sounds so funny that you say so.. You mean that you have to have had sex before watching the show?

Camilla you have a point. This show isn't all about sex. For example I love Chuck and Blair like everyone else but people get mad and say that theyre going to stop watching if they don't sleep together soon They are becoming overrated. Their hookups don't make the who show. There is so much more to highschool. In case you are wondering I am still a virgin and I am okay with it though I am in my 20s.
