I'm tired of people blaiming tv shows, films and video games on the corruption of the youngest. True they to weight over them, 'cause they are part as how they percive society and the world, but they must take they morals and ideals from home. If you are a caring parent and you take time out of your life to be with your children, then it doesn't matter what kind of show do they watch 'cause they won't be learning from that.
I'm 19 and I'm in second year at medicine. I have a steady boyfriend and a great job. When I was in high school I drank, I partyed, I did drugs ( didn't became an adiction ) and I lost my virginity at 14 with my boyfriend of two and a half years. Being a tennager is making mistakes and growing up so I don't think is right to condem some of the thing that happens on the show 'cause life is not perfect and the world is not pink. Besides is when you can have fun, now with all the thing i have to do i barely have time to go out!. If we took everything with moderation is allright. I'm not saying hey go out get drunk, high and fuck as many guys as you can. Just live your life, you know what is right. If you drink to have a nice time, and don't end up trowing up or not knowing what you're doing its ok. Drugs are bad so I won't encourage them. If you feel safe and loved and you want to have sex, go for it, allways taking to consideration that you could get pregnant and that there are AIDS.
We are in the year 2oo8 and a lot of thing had changed, we must adjust to them.

Alright...I think this discussion has gotten a little off topic. I do agree that the show is not for younger girls, but I dont consider 12+ girls to be that young, i feel they can be smart and understand that it is just a show and that is not how people really act.
Anyways... I'm a blair supporter. I think everyone has forgotten how much of a truely good person blair is. Blair is a fierce friend and when Serena had a problem (mainly Georgina) she did everything in her power to protect her. Blair is awesome!

Wow. This discussion totaly went off topic LOL! I mean blaiming tv shows, films and video games on the corruption of the youth is getting a bit old. If you believe what you see and hear on tv then your too young to be watching it!
And as for Blair, she is the one and only Queen B. And Chuck is her king :) hehe

Umm Mary, making a personal attack based on my living in Canada- SERIOUSLY?
For the record, I'm not blaming TV for the corruption of youth I simply said that I will do everything in my power to proctect my children from such things at such a young age. Stay a kid for as long as you can because once you're not anymore- you wish you'll wish you were.

Vmec, I don't blame television for corruption of the youth either. I watched shows like this at 14 but that is just me. But the part that you said about staying a kid as long as you can. Amen to that! I would give anything to be a teenager again.
