Okay guys, so we all know that Carter Baizen is one of those interesting characters in the Gossip Girl mythos who doesn't show up all the time, but when he does, we get a glimpse of an untold history with all our main players. After watching him trick Nate out of some major cash, seduce Blair behind Chuck's back, and constantly allude to Santorini with Serena, how can we not be curious about this shady fellow? Whether you love him, hate him, or are just plain suspicious... admit it, you're curious about Carter!Well, it sounds like in Season 3, at least some of our curiosities about Carter may be answered, as he is slated to take on a more major role in the series, especially when it comes to Serena. So is this official? Do we have 8 main characters now instead of 7? (You know, Serena Blair Nate Chuck Dan Jenny and Vanessa?) Are you excited about this? Do you want more Carter? Any thoughts???

Hey, I would take more Carter, Georgina, Eric and Dorota and less Vanessa anyday...lol...

Ikr. Vanessa's like spoilt broccolli to me. And you know that 97.9% of the population hates broccolli. (AND Vanessa) lol

ok i love broccoli but i hate vanessa her character has no depth, no drama and this showw is a drama. its a show about the ues and all that it intels. her character is not an uesider so i can careless about her background, what she is doin or her sl. i dont even lik to c scenes with her alone.

I don't get why they even have Vanessa on the show, she's pretty much useless, and yeah I would rather see more Carter, Georgina, Eric, Dorota, and even Jenny than Vanessa.

Ugh Vanessa is like a bad penny, she's always around regardless if you want her to be or not. She was a much likeable character in the books IMO. Anyways I don't consider her to be a main character. The NJBC are the heart and soul of GG and I wish the show would center around them more than anyone else.

@datg, it's been a while since I last saw you. lol. And yeah, I really loved her more in the books. I mean she was badass and well, DIFFERENT.

there should be six main characters:

serena, blair, dan, nate, chuck and jenny

there should be four very reoccuring characters:

dorota, eric, carter and georgina

there should be one character who mysteriously dissapers:

vanessa.

something i noticed about how the writers write her, i feel like they want us to hate her. i mean you know since the majority of fans love chair? well instead of maybe increasing her popularity and making her help chair get together, they made her even more un-likable because she tried to separate chair. twice! and she hooked up with chuck!

i have so much to say bout her but i guess that's been on my mind for a while. that and she doesn't belong with nate or chuck!
