   I thought that meant season 5 or 6 may be the end of gossip girl? since she said it might end in 2 years? thats pretty good for me since I was expecting it to end in season 5 and we know it wont end this season because JS and SS have already confirmed that

   They could just be trying to make sure they don't upset the viewers and upset fans ruining the middle of the season's ratings before the announcement would be made.

   With a certain part of the Gossip Girl fanbase clamoring for a new teenage cast to be featured at Constance and St. Judes, maybe if a season 7 occures, it would be a rebirth of the show, somewhat similar to CW's 90210. Hopefully, if they choose to do something like this, they'd have plenty of students from Fresman to Seniors featured, similar to Degrassi, so when they graduate and become Adults and have to grow up, they'd either be featured less or become guess stars to keep the controveries where they are interesting and entertaining, in high school.

   If GG ends, it's for good. No new cast. New casts are shit. 

   Besides, they already did (almost) everything on this show, how far could they still go?

   i dont think that their lying to us to not upset us, i mean it would be upsetting but i feel like if this was the last season more people would watch to see how it ends
