Actually, I wouldn't mind if Jack just loosened up a bit and they didn't make him so creepy with still being in love with someone he hadn't seen since he was 8.

Hi all, I am joining the thread too! I just recently discovered Revenge and now the hiatus is killing me. The fact that all the shows - GG included - are on hiatus too doesn't help at all. I think Revenge is fascinating because it's very different from the other shows: we know very little about the protagonist's emotions and thoughts and the love stories are just a marginal side of the series.
My favorite character is probably Victoria: when I first saw her, she remembered me of a grown up season-1 Blair actually. Of course what I mean is that she has been pictured as the villain, but as you said Ann there's more to her and sometimes she just looks like a victim of her own wrong decisions. Emily in my opinion is not that interesting, although I want her to triumph (but maybe to find sympathy for Victoria at the end).
Nolan is the fun of the show, of course. I love his character. I can't stand Jack instead: he's reaally boring and I know he's Emily's soulmate or whatever, but I just can't like him enough. I would prefer Emily and Daniel together.

I also think Victoria is like Blair (she even banished her husband's lover) and I think the Conrad-Victoria relationship is how Chuck-Blair would be if they got married. lol

I am so pleased to hear that not everyone likes Jack, and I don't really care for Amanda either. I thought I was the only one and that I was missing something. I actually like Emily and Daniel together, but you know that relationship is doomed b/c of Emily's revenge on the Grayson family. Still, it is a nice twist and a huge glitch in her plan to develop real and true feelings for Daniel (which I believe she does have). I am also interested how Charlotte is going to factor into Emily's life now. She found out this is her half-sister and at first it didn't seem to matter to Emily, but now you can start to see her outer shell crack a bit regarding her younger sister. The problem is that she is Victoria's daughter, and she is bound to get caught in the cross-fire.
I want this hiatus to be over now!!!!

Thirtysomething, you are right. Daniel and Charlotte are bound to get involved in Emily's revenge, and most likely they would be the perfect tool to cause Victoria some real pain, and Emily knows it. But I don't know, I have this feeling that Emily and Victoria's relationship won't be that simple: it's obvious that the two women are more similar than they'd like to admit, and all in all they love the same men, Emily's father and Daniel. I found that the most emotional scenes have been the moments in which Victoria was vulnerable with Emily because Daniel was in jail...It's obvious that the two women fear and recognize each other's strengths, and that makes them closer than anyone else on the show despite themselves.

I agree that Victoria and Emily's relationship won't be simple. Victoria did show some real vulnerability when Daniel was in jail, but can you imagine what Victoria would do if she ever found out about Emily's plan??? Want to talk about revenge??? I do think that Charlotte and Daniel are going to complicate things for Emily, she can't be as detached as she would like. Its such an intriguing show and right now I love it. I just wonder how long a show like this can go for though before it loses its punch.

Love revenge so glad someone made a thread !!!! I love Emily ( the real Amanda ) , she is so shady , everytime I sympathise with her , she reminds me that she is out for ultimate revenge . Love Nolan ross he is so great , really like him . Also can't stand Declan , and I usually like Conor paolo ! Also hate fake Amanda , can they dress her anymore trashy ?Posted 3/22/2012 5:42:24 PM #

So, Revenge is kind of back tonight!!! A new, recap episode, whatever that means. I'm still excited. This hiatus has been too long!
