The show should focus more on the UES and less in NYU

   i think that's one of the biggest problem this season, isnt this show supposed to be about the UES? why are they spending so much time at NYU? i want more fancy parties and less coffe houses and dorms

   Me too. We get that they are in college now but seriously? No no no. I want more scenes on the UES again too. Shouldn't Nate at least get some? I mean: he's at Columbia and that's not one of the cheap schools. They should have parties there comparable to the UES parties.

   Like I said in another thread: Blair should be transfered to Columbia,and then we would have just few scenes of her and Nate there,and so,Dan and Vanessa should be like Nate in the begging of the season,everybody knows that they go to the college,but no one actually sees it.

   Agreed this is supposed to be about UES with a little of Brooklyn NOT the other way around.  GEEZ!!!!  Can the writers do anything that makes sense???

   Exactly. We watch this show because we want to see the glamorous life of the rich. Not blair sitting in her dorm room playing chess!

   I know. It's so stupid. Why would the Gossip Girl bloggers even care about what's going on at NYU? GG is supposed to be about "Manhattan's elite" It has gotten so far from that. I blame Vanessa, and now Dan, since neither of them really have anything to do with the UES. Jenny is a part of it now, but the fact that Dan was called the "ultimate insider" is completely ridiculous now.

   The obvious soultion I see is Dan becomes a famous author overnight, becames the toast of the town, and dates another socialite (maybe Georgina). But Vanessa doesn't fit into this picture at all. She needs to GTFO.

   I KNOW. i dont care about NYU at all, i watch the show for the UES, not for stupid college drama. DNW, blair needs to get out of there

    Oh God,me too!Since the first episode of this season I feel like the only purpose on the show was pimping Vanessa,therefore,they have to put Blair in the same place as her,so they would have an excuse to give her more screentime.

    I miss the gossips in Constance,was so amazing how that happened in 1x13,and then in 1x16,with Blair and Jenny,you could see how destructive gossips can be. And I think the show lost it 'spark',not because they are in the college now,but because there is too much non-important NYU and almost nothing of UES glamorous life
