   Just saw this on EW:

   It has been all but confirmed that Bart is really alive on Gossip Girl. Can you please confirm it? -- @wrightst3 I can do no such thing, love! Buuuuuuut, I will relay what executive producer Josh Safran told me about the matter. “Bart has been on the show since his death — as a ghost, in flashbacks. There are also alternate realities,” he says. “I’m not going to say anymore than that but it is not beyond us to have Bart back on the show for an episode.”

   Hmmm...

   I know it's crazy, but I always thought it was really bizarre how the show came back post-accident from the hiatus with Chuck perfectly fine, walking his dog and talking to Louis. No GG voiceover, just Chuck's POV. And then all the weirdness (the pact, Blair going through with the wedding, Blair acting like a character from Dan's book instead of herself, Dair, etc.) which seemed so at odds with what happened before.

   If "alternate realities" is in the cards, then what if Chuck has really been in a coma this whole time and all the nonsense they've thrown at us in the latter half of the season has been Chuck's nightmare? Would make total sense that it would climax in the return of Bart...

   It would be insane but not unprecedented in the realm of primetime soaps (see: Dallas season 8), but who knows if they'd actually go there. Would actually redeem the show a lot in my eyes after the ridiculousness that has been this season, though.

   That scene at the beginning after the hiatus with chuck walking in the rain did seem odd . But where would the whole Serena as GG fit into this ? Would they really show us all of that for nothing ?

   I dunno, it's Josh Safran. If he did something like this I wouldn't really bet on it being 100% internally consistent, because nothing he's written has been.

   But who knows, GG herself is like the binding force that makes the show possible, so it would make a kind of sense that her voice would be "fragmented" if what we were seeing was a coma dream reality.

   Maybe....maybe in the 'alternate realily' that's when Chuck and Blair get married in Las Vegas ! That would be amazing if that whole casino scene wasn't even going to happen in the 'real world' *for us I mean*

   I get that Safran is a dair fan Juliette but what would be the point of a casino alternate universe episode? I wouldn't put it past Safran to have alternate endings to the season with chuck waking up from his coma as a back up plan in case his "vision" for the show is met with lukewarm reactions from the fans of the show. If that's the case, then I am officially on board the coma dream train!

    omg, maybe that explains the theory that dair and chair fans would be happy in the finale.there are 2 endings.
