BassIsAlpha- the OC is an older show that was created by Josh/Stephanie but went off the year in 2007 and the people were just comparing Dan/Blair to and couple from the OC.....get it?Posted 3/2/2009 1:34:05 PM #
BassIsAlpha I totally agree with you on the hole dan/blair thing! it would be really great to see them together although I dont think it would last so long. I love their scenes together, they´re so funny! I cant wai for the next episode when they starr in the play together.
btw I dont care if it turns out to be just like seth and summer in the oc cause i loved them together anyway.Posted 3/2/2009 3:34:37 PM #
I highly doubt Dair will ever happen because Blair is everything Dan hates about upper east siders and Dan is everything Blair hates about the lower classPosted 3/2/2009 3:50:24 PM #
plus it would be discusting and i would stop watching the show,
i dont care if chuck is with vanessa or bblair and carter just not DAN
he is the worst character on the show.
and if they were a couple they would get in fights constantly, dan would judge blair and blair would want a real man :]
not an ugly rat face who hooks up with teachers and ruined her futurePosted 3/2/2009 4:10:39 PM #
P, Blair ruined her future HERSELF. It was all her, she stirred it up because it wasn't what she wanted, so she gave pay-back to the bitch who ticked her off. She could have done the whole "B" thing a different route. She chose to send that tip to GG. She got herself almost expelled. Don't blame Dan. Yes, I am actually standing up for him. He did nothing but the right, moral choice. He was protecting someone else.. Rachel. Serena was caught in between, but Blair is Serenas' best friend.
And as for being the 'worst character on the show' [Dan], bull shit. He is what brings the heightened reality down to OUR level- the viewers.Posted 3/2/2009 6:13:24 PM #
I posted a thread that had to do with it...here's my idea of how a Dair hookup could work....
Blair will not go to Yale next fall. She'll stay in NY and her and Chuck will be happy for part of--if not most of--the season.
Even though she's happy in her relationship, she'll start to question what she's doing with her life and if this is really the path that she wants to be going down.
Chuck will notice that something's wrong with her, but she'll deny the fact that she feels that her life is pretty empty. Secretly, she'll apply to Yale again to see if she can get in--either for the spring semester of season 3 or the fall semester of season 4--and Chuck will find her acceptance letter and be hurt that she didn't tell him.
Eventually they'll have a falling out because she feels like she needs to be her own person with her own dreams and she'll go off to Yale.
This is where season 4 comes in...I am a die hard Chair fan, so don't jump down my throat or anything because this is where I'm going to explain why I think all that stuff is going to happen. I think the writers would set a storyline like this up so that they can put Blair and Dan together. Don't you think it's a little strange that at first Dan was DIEHARD about going to Dartmouth and then all of the sudden he wants to go to Yale like it's the only thing he's ever wanted to do? I mean, the writers would be retarded if they didn't put Chair together for at least part of a season, so that's probably why Blair isn't going to Yale at the beginning of season 3. They wouldn't really be able to be together with Blair living in Connecticut.
Now, I know that sounds like really terrible and stuff, but really, Dan and Blair have a lot in common...they're both smart, witty, and hopeless romantics. It would certainly be entertaining to see them denying their feelings for one another because as alike as their personalities are...they hate eachother. It would at least cause some good drama.
Anyway...yea...this are just some random ideas I've been thinking about lately.Posted 3/7/2009 5:13:52 PM #
May I say to the person who posted this forum IN WHAT WAY DID SETH AND SUMMER SUCK?!?!?!? I LOVED THEM SO MUCH!Posted 3/7/2009 6:01:49 PM #
I completely agree with GG_Bass, Blair did do it to herself, and Dan is probably the most relateable character on the show, he is far from the worst on the show, I don't get the hate towards him as a character.
Oh and those are some great ideas you got there nostalgiakills, I can actually see that happening on the show, could turn into a good storyline, and yes it would be entertaining to see them try to deny their feelings for eachother, until they couldn't any longer.Posted 3/7/2009 7:07:44 PM #
