Vanessa is Not Poverty Stricken

I read quite a few times as to why Vanessa has nice clothes and how can she upkeep her hair extensions. Okay first what Vanessa has is a weave not extensions. Extensions are when you add hair by braiding it in.I am not sure if it is a demographic thing and people use the word extension and mean weave because weave does sound tacky but when I go to the hairdresser there is a big difference.

    Weave

    Extensions

Also Vanessa is not poverty stricken and she did work so she could keep her hair up good. for example with my experience, most women in the black community money does goes into the up keep of hair  and her hair is good hair and looks well done. sometimes she doesn't comb it or flat iron it because black hair mix with hair that's most likely from another culture group is the hardest hair to keep together. The same thing goes for her clothes and I am sure she saves and sews like Jenny.

BTW most hair weaves only cost between 80 to 100 depending on how much hair you get and your hairdresser and if you get your hair permed. BTW I think that is Jessica Szohr's  real hair, they curled for the show.

we call her hair gnarly cause it looks uncombed all the time. or she just let some random birds have sex in her hair and didn't bother to get it right before she wanders out in public. its so ugly.

Why do you keep bringing up that Vanessa is black? She is more Hungarian than black any way. So really when you describe her you should say she is Hungarian.

And BTW I have had extensions and they sure as hell don't look like that. Extensions look like an extension of your real hair.

And NO Vanessa wouldn't be able to afford $500 shirts and $3000 handbags. She lives in Brooklyn. Not that Brooklyn is a poor town AT ALL but it is more for a place that is New York middle class. I say New-York-Middle-Class because that is not the same as middle class to the rest of the United States. She is NOT super rich and wouldn't be able to afford the luxury that the others on the show would be able too. Just like how Jenny in the first two seasons shouldn't look like she should of had designer clothes. However, at least they gave her the storyline that she is able to sew her own that look as good as the original.

Jessicas actual hair ends just above her shoulders. I actually think they put hairpieces in her hair which she can remove any time. I noticed it in the summer when she had them out and they were in the night of True Blood premiere, which was either the same night or a day after. If a hairdresser did this, it would've looked a lot nicer.

Sigh. I wish I lived in culture where natural, curly hair was appreciated. And also, Vanessa probably buys her clothes and plastic jewerly from thift stores.

Ok there is BIG difference between beautiful natural curly hair and that above picture that Maeve posted. She has had some pretty hair before. Just at times she really drops the ball.

I know. I wasn't talkin about a JS pic. I'm saying I find it frustrating that only way a lot of girls on here seem to think a person with curly hair can look good is if they straighten it. Last time I had that done the chemicals burned my scalp and dripped down the side of my face and burned my skin so no more, thank you.
