What if Dan is Gossip Girl?

   So, after last night's episode the idea about Dan being GG went strong. IDK what you think but if it's turn out that he really is GG I will be really disapointed on the show (not that I've never been disapointed with gg writers) and no because he was supouse to be the moral compass (at least the old Dan was) but because I think it should be someone else. Someone less predictable. The all 'outsider who wants to be an insider' thing is getting kinda old.

   Can't be. In the S3 finale J puts out a blast on S and D while they are sleeping, it goes viral on GG. That's just the top of my head but there are a dozen more continuity errors with that theory.

   No, no, no...just no. Please, please don't let DAN! be GG. Also, i don't think his plan can reach back thaat long. i mean at the end of season 5 he beliebed what gossip girl posted about blair and he couldnt have known serena was making a sex tape etc.

   I don't think that thats what his final chapter is about.

   @Charlice93  that was the first thing I remember when I was trying to find  reasons to why Dan can't be GG. But that one isn't legit because that blast turned out to be good for him. he wants to get back with S and that helped. Having said that, I must add that I'm a huge DS shipper and Dan is one of my fav characters.

   @D&S gotta agree with you. If Dan really is GG, season 5 finale doesn't makes sense.

   Wasn't there something about Bart Bass being GG.

    

   Oh and one more continuity erorr. In S4 during the pink whatever event Blair and Dan stage a fake kiss for Louie's bodyguard and Ivy tapes them and sends it to GG. So unless Dan is The Flash and he can kiss Blair, run at the speed of light to his computer, post it on GG, comeback in less than a second before Balir notices and then procede to walk down the stairs to the party as the blast goes off 15 secs later......

   Yeah, i think its pretty clear. Especially the incident at the end of season 5. At the point the writers will probably have known who they want gossip girl to be... so yeah they wouldnt have done it that way of dan was gg!

   I'll never watch another CW show of it all ends up being a book Dan wrote or his delusions of grandeur at the Ostroff/Pedowitz center at which he's a patient made he had a nervous breakdown after being rejected by S and bullied by Blair an Chuck my favorite ending

    If Dan is GG then this show is crappier than ever. Haven't they villified him enough already?
