I really don't get where people think Chuck and Serena have chemistry, especially in Season 1. And don't worry I am not going to be one of those "crazy" chair fans that is going to stalk you all in your Chuck/Serena thread to tell you all how much I hate them together. Ship whoever you want. I just seriously do not see any chemistry between them. Yes I agree that Chuck has sleezy chemistry will about anyone. But Chuck was trying to RAPE Serena in the pilot because he had no respect for her, thought she was easy, and thought he could blackmail her. He continues to harass her through out the season, including lurking in the bathroom doorway in S1.E17. It is only when he becomes part of her family that he starts to have any sort of decent behavior towards her and I am using the term decent behavior loosely. And that is just Chuck. I have never felt that Serena has wanted Chuck in any sort of form - ever. I have enjoyed their interaction as a brother/sister team as much as I have enjoy the "chemistry" between Chuck and Eric.
Anyway, just had to get that off my chest since there seems to be a lot of new support for Cherena. Sorry but I just don't see it.

i always loved CS, dont know to explain why. yes, he tried to rape her and that sucks but at the same time its fun to see how much their relationship progressed, i think both respect and understand eachother a lot now, maybe it's because their s/ls are parallels, they used to be the wildchilds but now both of them are trying to proove to theirselves and other people that they can be taken seriously.
I have enjoyed their interaction as a brother/sister team as much as I have enjoy the "chemistry" between Chuck and Eric.
i love their relationship the way it is now, if they hooked up, a lot would be ruined. that's why the best thing sexual or romantic for them, IMO, would be a drunken sex flashback before the pilot.

Not for me either. And I don't think I can see them as hot, since they've been acting like siblings for so long now. I just think Dan and Blair have a better chance of having good chemistry.

To me the pilot is a whole different species. I mean Chuck mentioned his "parents" in the pilot. . . Come on.
