To me the pilot is a whole different species. I mean Chuck mentioned his "parents" in the pilot. . . Come on.
The whole show was set up with the pilot. To consider it a whole "different species" makes no sense to me. If all you have is Chuck mentioning his mother as a reason to rule out the pilot, sorry but I don't buy it.

Even though I do kind of like the concept of Chuck and Serena, the reality I think is that Serena is just not into him in that way. I can see friendship there, even the forced siblingness that mirrors that with Dan recently, but not a romantic thing. She honestly doesn't like his smarmy, manipulative thing at all. Honestly I'm a bit surprised she even went for Carter, who is this weird Chuck and Nate mash-up of conflict with privilege and skanky manipulativeness. Serena likes to feel that her relationships are legitimate and I don't think she could ever feel like that with Chuck, with whom everything at least seems, and often is, like a game.
As far as Dair goes, I don't think Blair would mind being friends, more likely frenemies with him, but I can't see her like actually touching him. I think she'd be afraid that a history of LAME was contagious. I never got the sense that Blair thought much of Dan at all, just that she put up with him because it made Serena happy and it wasted her energy not to. As far as Dan goes towards Blair, I think her finds her mean, creepy and weird and wouldn't tough her entitlement, bitchiness, or neurosis with a 10 foot pole.

to me I just Prefer Dan and Blair because they never been in sibiling relationship like serena and chcuk .. but as I mentioned that serena is too hot for chuck .. I think Blair is also too bitchy for Dan I mean she would eat him alive LOOOL.. don't forget ..! Dan is a very judgmental person .. and Blair would never tolerate that !!
