Who is evil now?

Chuck Bass let his dad died! Now who is the devil? Dan and his book and his little revenge or Chuck letting his dad DIED! HE LET HIS OWN BLOOD DIE!

If people tell me he was dangerous for Lily, Chuck, Blair etc etc...Let me tell you something. When you are hurting people, you go to jail. You don't do your own little vengeance. If everybody was aloud to do their own law, the world would be chaotic. All this storyline to have Chuck kill his father and for some reason not being blame for it??? You really want to tell me Dan is the bad guy now?

I agree with you. Dan never was and never will the bad guy on GG.
Chuck/Bart sl is different... I think they will go with "it was an accident" argument (and like Bart said: accidents happen). Technically Chuck didn't push Bart so he didn't kill him, but I think they went to far for not helped him when he was hanging in the cliff.

He went from rapist to selling his girlfirend to his rapist uncle (hmmm must be bass family trait) to standing idly by while his father begged for help to save his life all the while commiting criminal negligence.
Chuck is quite a catch! (no pun intended)

Chuck: Forced himself on girls, sells the "love of his life" to his rapist uncle and stands idle while his father plunges to his death
Nate: Commits fraud and gets arrested for a major white collar crime
Dan: A meanie who writes mean things
Who's the least bad guy here... hmmmm..... that's a tough one....

I think Chuck and Nate are good people deep down. Yeah, they've done really bad things (I also think they went too far with the Bart/Chuck scene but accidents happen I guess?? ugh) but they're not really bad people. While Dan may not have broken the law, he is douchey to the core. I just think he is a crummy person, but to each his own. I'll keep Chuck and Nate and you can have Dan :)

Way way deep Elise because see, there is 2 things that are absolutely wrong here :
1-Not helping somebody who is about to die is one thing, I mean if you are, as you said, a good person deep down, you know that no matter who it is, if there is a situation where you can save someone from death without dying yourself, you would. Even if it was a complete stranger, a murderer, or your worst enemy, it's basic human actions. Some would do it for their conscience, some would do it just because of religion or something else, but anyone would do it.
2-If it were your own family, family is family...Bart may have been a horrible dad (though I record some warming up at some point in GG) but your family is your family, and how horrible and awefull they are, you can never hurt your family...It's something that's deep down in your core. This one is hard to explain, but even if sometimes you want them all to disappear or you don't get along with them, you will always love them no matter what, therefore letting his own dad die make it even worst.

For some reason that scene made me think of Beauty and The Beast, a movie that has been the Chuck/Blair reference since the beginning of season 1. As you can recall, Gaston comes to the castle to kill the beast, as he is about to fall he begs for his mercy and the beast suddenly decides to let him go. Gaston comes back and kills the beast before falling to his death. The beast is the good guy, because even if Gaston came to his castle and destroyed everything the beast ever had, he let him go.
