I like Serena this season, but I couldn't stand her all through the last one.

I'm just tired about her SLs. Never changed in 4 years. And i also don't accept the fact everything moves because of her. Like, without her, this show would die. No.

actually, i felt sorry for serena there. i mean, she was innocent there and nobody believed her really. he best friend did not believe her, nate did not believe her, her family did not believe her. serena was alone there.. and she knew that someone would see her so broken. only dan was there for her. i mean so it made everything sense there for serena and her emotions.

They are recycling storylines for pretty much everyone.  Blair and Chuck together.  Blair on her own.  Dan and Serena.  Serena obviously.  Jenny.  It's making all the characters less likable than before, and certainly isn't a problem isolated to Serena imo.

True, and that's why I found the storyline centered around Serena during last episode so uninteresting: I've seen all of it before.   Nate's storyline for me was the most entertaining because at least there is something happening there that we have not seen for 4 seasons in a row.  The characters on this show don't evolve and progress; they merely change sex partners (and in my mind that does not equal character evolution).

Yes, Nate's story is the most original at the moment, and presents some good opportunities for good honest drama.  In fact I'm generally encouraged that family drama appears to be making a bit of a comeback, having been so important during S1.

I enjoyed his Nate's sl also. And, idk I was kinda glad he didn't let himself get sucked back in to Serena's hole. Even though, I must admit it felt weird not having Nate run to Serena's rescue right away...but I was glad it happened.
