I reckon there's a video out there that has a special meaning for you for certain reason. Or maybe you watched a video once that made your day, made you laugh or cry. If that's the case, post it here and share it to the world. Thank you!

Mine, it's this one. Placebo - Song to say goodbye.
The song is supposed to talk about drug addiction, but the video is about depression and mental diseases to me. The way the kid has to take care of his father - or maybe the fact that they're the same person... it mesmerizes me

So, I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and most of the videos coming to my brain are russian (they did shoot pretty decent videos to mostly crappy songs). Here is one English one though :)

It's very artistic I think

The Killers! Win. This reminds me of a Coldplay video, really original too: Coldplay - Strawberry swing
Oh and they can also be Russian, why not? :) I know one that has no words, but the story and moral are great. It's about two teenagers, but it's about life in general, the choices that determine our destiny.. It's quite The butterfly effect. Check it out everybody! :D Cinnamon chasers - Luv deluxe

Three Days Grace - Never too late.
You may not know it but when this little girl is sitting on her bed and has black hands all over her, it means that she has been sexually attacked etc. Just so you know. ;)
I know, it's a song about Suicide, but Adam told himself that it's NOT to give up, even when you think all hopes are gone.

Ok, Elisa :)
So this is the song that is somewhat similar to Cranberries' "Zombie" in terms of concept and even music possibly. They are not all that similar, but I guess similar enough to draw parallels. Before this video came out, this singer was a virtual unknown in the Russian music scene of the mid 90s, but she quickly drew fans after people have seen this. I think this is one of those cases where the video made the artist (as a general warning, it's not a happy video). It definitely carries a message with it, but aside from it, I actually like the artistics of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7s6gJWoIMI

Knives Out by Radiohead is a really, really bizarre video. A typical Michael Gondry cut.

Thought I'd also share a happy video too as the last one was rather depressing. This is rather old now, but it always puts me in a good mood. It's actually something I watch/listen to when I need a major positivity boost. I honestly don't know if there is a more positive music video out there than this one:

Might be a good thing, it's über-freaky, especially right at the end.Posted 3/28/2011 4:38:06 PM #
