Bon Jovi in Rock in Rio Madrid. Awesome.

I saw some of you like Bon Jovi, and I imagine you won't know they performed last weekend in the festival. I'm not a fan of them but I saw in on TV and got goosebumps, so I just wanted to share this:
Hallelujah. BEAUTIFUL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UtGy3WqABs

Gosh! For a moment I thought you were in Rock in Rio Madrid.
I wanted to go but with the exams and all that stuff it´s a bad month for partying :(
You´re right, Bon Jovi rocked the festival, amazing interpretation. They should bring more singers like him and less Miley. I was absolutely shocked when I saw she was going to come.

It's interesting how when people cover this song now they cover the Jeff Buckley version and not the original Leonard Cohen. The original is slightly more uptempo. I felt By Jovi's version here was missing a little emotion.

Good summary :) Excepting Amy Mcdonald, this year there are not any band I really love, I just watch it on TV. Did you see Miley! Gosh that the hell was she doing there! I mean, no offence for Miley fans, I know there's a huge fanbase here, but a "rock" festival.... come on, she could have performed alone in the Calderón and she would have filled it up too
I didn't like Rihanna either, she looked apathetic :(
Let's see this weekend!

True. And about Bon Jovi perfomance, I enjoyed it a lot :) I was studying while listening to the concert and I promise that when that song came up I almost cry. The lead guitarist, Richie Sambora, is a genius! I admit I'm ignorant about the members of the band, from them I know the songs and that's it, that's why they impressed me so much

I wasn't knocking this version, it's such a difficult song to sing. Jeff set the bar really high and put so much emotion into his version, I'm not sure anyone would be able to match it. If you haven't heard Jeff Buckley's version there's a link below:

Fine sorry, a video where you can actually see Sambora lol:

It's a pity there's a gap between the sound and the image
Listen the public screaming "Oeeee oe oe oe" hahaha. We are extraordinary

That´s my point exactly. She could do a show for her teen fans but IMO spent money and time of the Rock in Rio in something like her is... ridiculous.
