You say it right bfan! I mean it's a good story, it's a story about love and how life sometimes just comes between. Even tough you love someone it doesn't always mean you can or will be together.. For Chuck things as pride and the death of his father played a big part and for Blair her future things she has allways dreamt of fell apart so she had to refind her self...And now Chuck is trying to do te right thing in his life.. it started with appolgizing to Jenny. And he thinks Blair will be happier with Nate because of who Nate is and who Chuck is. But what he doesn't realise (yet) is that he is the person for Blair the one who can make her really happy and not fake happy! He really did a good thing by not wanting her for himself and wanting his friend and the girl he loves to be happy

Queen T, I totally agree with you! I'm glad Chuck & Blair's relationship is like this on Gossip Girl because it does make it far more meaningful than if they would've had Blair succumb to Chuck's requests for sex a few episodes after "The Dark Night."
I think it's great that they made C & B explore their emotions with each other and their various issues that are helping them realize now that they were meant for each other. I just hope that in S3 the writers can show Chuck & Blair being the epic couple that they can be. Passionate, caring, funny, scheming, and both showing steadfast compassion for each other through it all. Combine CB from S1 with CB from S2, and you would get a great pair indeed!

I had a serious flashback to the end of 1.13 when Chuck said "It's just a game." He had that same look on his face after B walked away that he did after he told her he didn't want her anymore.

When Blair's eyes started watering that's when I start crying..
then when he told her it was just a game I went crazy.
At least he told Serena he loved her!
Two more weeks people! <3

I started tearing up when he said "Acting like what?" And then I started to cry when he said "I would never wish that on anyone. I want you to be happy" and I started seriously sobbing when Blair was like "Then please Chuck, just let me go"
I started crying hysterically when he told Serena he did it because he loves her.
CB=EPIC

I just love how Chuck is about to cry when he asks "Acting like what?" He's as sad as we are that they're not together!

I was hoping for more of a "acting like you couldn't let me go".
Although the scene was sad I was so happy that Blair told him that he needed to let her go. Poor Blair has been on an emotional rollercoaster with Chuck since ep.8 (well, really since ep.1) I was glad she confronted him about saying they couldn't be together but then always being there when she was trying to move on.
But I am so glad he still isn't going to let her go and we will get our FINALLY in two weeks!

Blair: Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't love you.
