   Rebecca: Spill it! Who's the dead father who's coming back? My money is on Christian Shephard of Lost!Nope. It's actually Bart Bass of Gossip Girl. How crazytown is that?! A source tells me thatRobert John Burke (the senior Basshole) will be returning to the show in December, just in time to make it a very special Gossip GirlChristmas. P.S. When I hinted that "two blondes will be atwitter" I was referring to Lily Rhodes van der Woodsen Bass Humphrey and Gossip Girl herself (Kristen Bell), who will certainly Twitter the news!—but of course Serena also would count. Whaddya think of that twist?

   I'm voting its a ghost (like Chcuk seeing him when hes having christmas w/out him alive) or most probably Chuck's having flashbacks of Christmas with his dad... I doubt he is actually alive. And if its flashbacks ill b rlly happy

   I don't know... I kinda like the idea of Chuck being an orphan. It makes him so much more sweet, and you feel bad for him that much more. I think Bart is a badass, and I think his character died too soon, but I also think it was for a good reason and it's better off this way. 

   Plus - it's not like Lily was in love with him or anything, so if he was alive, I feel like it wouldn't effect her much (except that she'd still be married to him). But emotionally - it wouldn't matter to her. Unless she somehow was responsible for the "accident", I don't see why Bart being alive is important. 

   Perhaps he can come back as a ghost somehow? That's the only way I'll take him.

   I doubt the validaty of that statement.

   If the writers are going to bring Bart Bass back, it better be as a flashback or a hallucination - otherwise the writers are smoking some weird shit.
