Ok so looking at the sneak peek for this weeks episode on the homepage it seems Chuck meets a psychiatrist in the dog park - of course he checks her out ( it's Chuck Bass) but he also takes her card and says he is 'out of sorts at the moment'. We know there is a big scene coming up with him and Blair - so what does everyone think - is Chuck finally going to get the help to deal with his emotions

yeah we already know chuck won't have a love interest this season so i am pretty sure he is going to go to the therapist. i think it's good for him. it great and it'll help him grow more. and i'm sure that scene with blair is the apology. supposedly he apologizes for something HUGE and that is part of therapy. first thing you have to do is apologize and make everything better with those you love

Yeah as much as I think Chuck will be involved with Blair's story in some way - providing the show doesn't get cancelled ( forcing the writers to choosing endgame couples) then I think this season will be based around Chuck's growth as an individual - last week he took a big step forward by realizing he doesn't want to be alone and should open up to having someone love him and be capable of giving that love back. I do find Chuck's character so interesting and think Ed plays him so well

yeah, he will grow more and i don't know about you or everybody else here but i DO believe that chair is endgame. if they get cancelled they will definitely just go ahead and write a chair endgame. i don't think i should be too worried except for that the writers will rush everything.

Yeah I couldn't think of a better woman for Chuck. I mean even I can't understand why is childhood is the only responsible thing for everything he does.

Shrink : (calm) Chuck, drop that hand right now, you don't really want to hurt me, it's your screwed up childhood that made you this way

Chuck : (angry) IT IS!!!......(calm) oh yeah you are right it is my childhood (laughs).... you are the most amazing woman I know you know that? ...I love you

Shrink : I love you too Charles

I agree. I think if they knew for sure they had two more seasons they would make this season a Dair season, then season six or the last half of season 6 Chair so they are endgame. But as they don't know if this will be their last they are keeping both ships 'happy' for now.

I think Chuck will try to get over Blair with the shrink though. We see in the sneak peak him watching her ass as she walks away and then in the promo we see her cross her legs and him look up her skirt. I don't want Chuck to have another stupid guest star relationship!

lol it's Chuck so, what are we all actually discussing about here? A woman doesn't necessarily have to even be presented as his love interest, he can have sex with her regardless of who she is/what the fuck is her purpose on this show. Pretty sure this is a part of the "lame redemption of Chuck The Great" but oh.

I for one am glad that the writers are actually going to develop a character and show some growth. People change as they get older and it seems all of the other characters could do with a bit of growth also. I mean come on Serena and Nate - they are lacking any purpose really.

Also it will be good to see Chuck deal with his issues - people seem to forget that Chuck is 21 - his father is dead - he was brought up by au pairs , he was led to believe his mother was dead and he killed her , something his father held him responsible for his entire life. His uncle hates him and tried to take his inheritance , he spent his youth in a haze of drugs and alcohol. His actions have been awful and his mind is somewhat twisted - there is NO other character on Gossip Girl that is as interesting as Chuck Bass whether you love him or hate him. I am looking firward to seeing Chuck finally tackle these issues

I don't see anything interesting in the fact that he's a selfish BASStard, who doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself, who is immature and doesn't know how to deal with his problems, who is treating other people badly thinking it'll make him feel better but still fails, who is constantly drunk and whose actions are always being justified by his "daddy-uncle-mommy" issues, but okay that's just me.
