The Empire Strikes Jack -
DESMOND HARRINGTON (“DEXTER”) AND WILLA HOLLAND (“THE O.C.”) GUEST STAR — Chuck (Ed Westwick) finds himself once again at odds with his uncle, Jack Bass (guest star Desmond Harrington). Eleanor (Margaret Colin) puts Blair (Leighton Meester) in charge of making sure her latest fashion show is a huge success with an important client. Rufus (Matthew Settle) attempts to get Jenny (Taylor Momsen) back on track by volunteering to have her help with Eleanor’s fashion show, but the opportunity takes a big turn for the worse when Jenny learns that Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) will be one of the models (sptv050769). Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr and Kelly Rutherford also star. This actually sounds good. Like something they would have done in midseason 2. And midseason 2 was weak but not as dreadful as season three.
Which means I am quite hopeful now.

By midseason 2 here i hope u mean pre 2x16 because for me 2x16 onwards GG was an absolute trainwreck in Season 2 barring a few scenes here & there.S3 is definitely not great by IMO is far better than the second half of S2.
Anyways this Synopsis for 3x16:-Empire Strikes Jack does seem promising indeed and does raise my hopes a little too.

Of course has Jenny to be part of the fashion show. Can't Blair have a real SL for once for her all alone? Always are the Brooklyn people involved in hers. UGH.
But I'm excited to see what Agnes will do as well.

Me too! I probably shouldn't, but just reading that Eleanor will be back and that Blair will get a little sl on her own makes me happy! I'm actually glad that she and Chuck will have differen't sl's because at that point they'll probably need it.

It doesn't necessarily have to mean that. In season 1 and first half of season 2 I think the writers did a pretty good job at intertwining many characters sl's together. "The thin line between Chuck and Nate" is a good example of that, because then almost everyone effected each others sl in some way. The cast has been seperated a lot, so I don't mind if Blair and Jenny share this one. But I hope that it won't just focus on Jenny and have Blair as a prop. I also don't want Blair to act totally stupid and screw up the fashion show.

Everytime these two share a sl, it's almost always awesome. For example, 2x05, 1x16, 1x05, 2x25 (Some scenes). I really like them working together or against each other. i have high hopes for this episode.

Yes yes, it would!!!! But at this point they probably won't. It just feels a little late for it. :(

Well, it doesn't have to play out in the same way, just because they're at a fashion show. But I wouldn't be surprised if the writers decided to recycle that sl. It does seem like they're doing it with Jenny by having her work for Eleanor again.

Yes, I love their dynamic too. IMO it's one of the most interesting ones on the show. But maybe we shouldn't get our hopes up, since we don't know if they're even gonna have that many scenes. They'll be involved in the same plotline, but they seem to be dealing with different things. But I hope they will.
