• Gossip Girl: If you caught tonight's Gossip Girl, you might be wondering if Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Carter Baizen (Leighton Meester's real-life boyfriend Sebastian Stan) are joining the cast as regulars next season. While it certainly looks that way in the finale, sources tell us they aren't signed to full-time gigs for next year, and of course, Michelle T's first obligation is to her new NBC series,Mercy. We caught up with her at the NBC "Infront" luncheon in L.A. and she told us exclusively, "It's definitely a cliffhanger, and obviously very exciting, and obviously one can assume from that dialogue being spoken that there are many more crazy things to come for Georgina."

Best episode of the season, no doubt. And just enough of Carter and Georgina, without taking away from the other cast members. I even liked Nate this episode, and I've been dissing on him for months!

Yes, I thought they spent the right amount on each character, with the emphasis on Blair and Chuck because they would have stolen the show either way.
It looks like G will be around here and there to cause a problem with Blair but not on a weekly basis since she is contracted to the other show full time.
I liked Nate this episode too. They actually didn't make him clueless! I have to say though when he said the deputy Mayor hit on him the first day and he didn't want to be the class whore anymore I almost hit the floor. I wondered what was going to happen to get him out of his internship with the Mayor's office. He also stood up to his grandfather and told him the truth upfront. Let's hope they continue that with Nate and maybe we will be able to actually enjoy his appearances in the episodes.
All in all, even though G wasn't in until the end, I thought they did ok by that storyline. It really didn't matter what happened to Poppy, because that storyline was lame anyway. She got the money back, and I am sure we will find out what happened in a later episode.
I actually like Carter and I have a feeling he is going to take over for the evil Chuck now that we have a new and improved Chuck. Which, will balance out the episodes.

Well Sebastian was on Kings and NBC cancelled it so GG would be stupid not to put him on contract for next season now.
We'll see if the same thing happens with Michelle's show or not. I would love more Georgina though!
