I wouldn't say 'I'm pregnant' could be a theme but who knows..
Of course Dan will still want her-seems he always wants what Chuck and Nate have had first, with Olivia and Charlie/Ivy being about the only two exceptions to that.

Starting over to me is the best suggestion I've heard so far.
It leaves the writers a lot of room to maneuver.
Additionally, the ones in college would be graduating this year right. That's usually a new start for most people.
