It is deffinately Bart Bass!
I read an article (can't remember which) online from a trusty source that confirmed that it was a male from the 5 possible characters of: Georgina, Vanessa, Nate, Rufus and Bart. It said that it was a 3rd wheel character that will open the door to a long awaited relationship < Rufus and Lily>
I don't know if everyone is excited or not? I'm starting to like Bart after watching "chuck in real life" for what he does for the Van Der Woodsen family but i think it's really upsetting how he treats his own son, Chuck. I'm also looking foward to the Lily/ Rufus romance!!

UMM OMG OMG OMG!!! So I was watching ENews! today and they had a "Watch with Kristen." So the here is what she said. 1. It is a guy. 2. They have been on the show since the very beginning. I could see it being Rufus which gives way to Bart and Lilly getting closer BUT BUT BUT!!!! Than I was looking at pictures and this is so BAD to say BUT has anyone seen recent photographs of PENN lately on the set????? I HAVE NOT!!!!! Which makes me VERY SAD to think that it might be him they are killing off. A. Why Jenny would be so hysterical. B. Nate is now friends with Dan so I can see Nate being closer to Jenny after it ( we have all seen them kissing) C. Make way for Lilly and Rufus after Lilly takes care of him through all of what could happen. They keep saying Dan and Serena will not be getting together anytime soon or in the future so.... I HOPE IT IS NOT HIM BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder what will happen if it is? Will they loose viewers like they did with OC? After Marissa died? Because that would not be good for this show.

Also, I am hearing LITTLE J is preggers????!!!!! Maybe Nate's. Rumors still she is getting her own spin off. Maybe Dan dies, she gets preggers (nate's baby) and she leaves b/c she can't handle all of it... OH they keep saying for a new relationship we all know new relationship Jenny and Nate. But they had a little friendly thing last season

OMG, I'm hoping it's not Dan. The CW would loose lots of Dan Fans if this were to happen, and I'm pretty sure they know this from experience. I really, honestly, don't want anyone to die. Even if it is Bart Bass... Chuck would be devestated and I definitely don't want to see him hurt. It's sad.... why do people have to die?!?!?!

Will Dan and Serena ever get back together?Not anytime soon, but their parents might...Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Lily (Kelly Rutherford) will get closer, from what I hear.
i think losing Bart would also clear up alot for Chuck as well!

lily and rufus would just be too weird i think. think about it...their kids have had sex! hello wouldn't that just be a little awkward? the show is mainly about these kids not really their parents...so i think that lily and rufus should not be together that way dan and serena wind up together...,just my thoughts

Its def Bart! And though it'll be way wierd i def believe it willl be sooooo good!
1. Chuck will look to blair for comfort.
2. Lily and Rufus! i think they're great together.
3. and since serena and dan will be froced to run into eachother every now and then it will sooooo be drama now that serena and new boi aaron rose are hooking up.
... if they move in together tho it would be wierd,, dan jenny serena chuck and nate all under one roof.... ha ha ha! hope it doesnt go quite that far.

It has to be Bart, they wouldn't kill off a main character like Nate or Dan. That would be a stupid move! I'll be surprised if its someone else. the only other person i would think it could be, thats been around since the beg would be Eric? hes the only other character who only appears every other episode

she says the character who dies was going to be killed off at the end of last season, but the writers decided to hold it off until this season... so it cant be anyone other than him :p
