Feeling left out of the planning, Blair (Leighton Meester) attempts to win Chuck’s approval by secretly helping him with a problem concerning opening night. Dan (Penn Badgley) is unnerved when he finally watches one of Olivia’s (guest star Hilary Huff) infamous sex scenes with co-star and real-life boyfriend at the time, Patrick Robinson (guest star Simon Miller). Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is forced to choose between her relationship with Eric (Connor Paolo) and her new role as Queen Bee. Rufus (Matthew Settle) gets Lily (Kelly Rutherford) into the Halloween spirit. Chace Crawford also stars. Joe Lazarov directed the episode written by Sara Goodman (e#307).

oh no... what is Blair doing? Why does she need to be involved in EVERYTHING?? Can't she just be happy for Chuck instead of interfering in everything he does? Her jealousy and competition with Serena is starting to get old. This can only end badly...

I think so too PIP but this is when another "breakdown in trust happens", so it's definitely going to end badly ughhh. :(, but thats fine because we know they eventually get back together!

I like, I like. it sounds like it'll be good! I do agree with Plotting in Pastel, the whole Blair being jealous of Serena thing is way too old. but I like the Dan and Olivia drama and I hope Jenny works things out with Eric!! pleasee don't tell me she chooses queen bee over Eric.

I thought it was because Blair and Chuck had that whole Josh kiss in 3.06, and that carried over to this episode. I read it more like Chuck's scheme for prom - she'd be doing something nice for him in secret. But "attempts", meaning it could fail?
But if it does turn into a Blair-Serena competition, since there's been a spoiler about that too, I just wish it's for a different reason this time, for goodness sake. We're way past keeping Serena from shining and all that shizz.
I just want the "major trust breakdown" to be resolved ASAP. Preferably ending in WHAS and/or limosex.

actually....for once im glad its not chuck who is going to mess it up.
but i will feel bad for blair.
its just...its always chuck nowadays who screws up....so i think he needs a little break.

Another instance of Blair's life revolving around Chuck, and hey! this time it may affect her relationship with Serena negatively! YAY!!
