Meli....you're right. The whole show is now very G rated. where is all the sex? where are all the drugs? where's all the drinking? I seem to remember a lot more cursing, too. Just more bad behavior. Now everyone is a saint (minus Blair and occasionally Jenny, of course). You get punished on GG if you're a driven, goal-oriented girl. Everything that you've worked hard for gets destroyed and taken away from you piece by piece.

    Stella...No. not enough.

On that note, there hasn't been enough of anything this season, except that I've had enough of seeing Vanessa get 30 minutes of screentime nearly every episode and I've had enough of the bad writing and character destruction.

Vagina Wig (okay btw that username/pic made me laugh out loud when I first saw it...I'm still giggling now)...there definitely needs to be more of that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    ^^ agreed.

I wish they had started off this season with Chuck and Blair unable to keep their hands off each other - like, making out in the elevator, pushing each other up against walls, desperate sex in a broom closet coz they hadn't seen each other for a whole day...that would have provided a more interesting foundation for Chair IMO.

    I agree.

They need to have more of this:

    Oh lawd.

    Gets me everytime.

Sweeti, you know how much I fucking love you and this has just solidified it. The sexism on this show has become blatant.

And Meli, it isn't Josh's fault. Josh hasn't written an episode since season one... and it shows.

I'm all for BD PDA. It's needed in my life right now. My college is sooo slim pickin's on the hot guy front.

I prayed for this. Begged and pleaded. But I feel so damn cheated. Stop implying and grow some balls and show me instead. Why are Josh & Co. so afraid of intimacy? It is a natural part of any healthy relationship and should be portrayed as such.

Instead, the first scene of Chuck we get this season is him picking up some blonde (not Blair).  I should have realized the writers were not keen on following thru with a C&B relationship worthy of their history and chemistry.

Yes it has - and it's disgusting. And it's no more blatant in the weak pathetic subservient way Blair is with Chuck now. What happened to them being equals?

HeadbandWhore....you know I fucking love you to pieces, too. It was love at first sight (or read) when you posted "okay, I need to get on my soapbox..." that thread = dynamite.

When I saw those promos, I was like WTF (and not in the good shocked way). So I'm supposed to believe that somehow in less than 3 months Blair and Chuck's relationship (sexual and emotional) has cooled so much that they need to play weird games that would definitely fuck with Blair's deep insecurities even more? That was supposed to be the "edge" the writers were giving CB? JE-SUS.

Oh, but didn't you hear Serena? Those games were supposed to be based on trust. Undecided

Yeah... like we're supposed to believe that.
