Trust Chuck? Psh, I wouldn't. What has he done to show that he is trustworthy? Little to nothing. That whole stupid game bothered me to begin with. The Blair I know would clearly SO not be okay with Chuck flirting or whatever he was doing with other girls. She told him it was over after he stood her up to go bang hookers on Bart's desk in 2.15. But now he can seduce girls and almost-kiss them and it's no biggie? What's next, Blair's going to be okay with Chuck banging other girls as long as she knows about it? News flash, honey, that's still cheating. And then it's like what's the point, why would you even be together? You writers are really fucking with my love of this show.

Seriously, Chuck's line of "Why do you think it took so long for me to say 'I love you'?" was deplorably hypocritical. Geez, when I read the spoilers about trust being Chair's biggest issue, I thought they'd be working through that issue, not making up for 2 seconds and doing something else that violates the other's trust. Ugh, the writers really are trying to destroy this couple.
And I agree, it is soooo OOC for Blair to be OK with her boyfriend chasing after another girl. In the beginning when Nate still had feelings about Serena, Blair blew a gasket. I thought Nate also should have been the target of her wrath instead of taking him back, but that's a different topic. In any case, Blair DEFINITELY wasn't OK with another girl coming between her and her boyfriend, so she shouldn't encourage Chuck to do the same.

ANYWAY CHAIRitable....when Chuck dropped that line "Why do you think it took so long for me to say 'I love you'?" and somehow equated that to him not trusting her? I was like....am I hearing this correctly? There were many reasons Chuck didn't say I love you...but trusting Blair was in no way one of those reasons. It's like the writers have selective amnesia when it comes to the characters they have written for 2 years, and we're just supposed to take it at face value while they rape and pillage all that was great about GG.

you are all so right ... i don't know what's wrong with the writers i have a feeling they are destroying the great show that was gossip girl in season 1 , i can't find the big OMG moments anymore ... I'm losing faith and GG is not as much interesting as it was !

I prayed for this. Begged and pleaded. But I feel so damn cheated. Stop implying and grow some balls and show me instead. Why are Josh & Co. so afraid of intimacy? It is a natural part of any healthy relationship and should be portrayed as such.Instead, the first scene of Chuck we get this season is him picking up some blonde (not Blair). I should have realized the writers were not keen on following thru with a C&B relationship worthy of their history and chemistry.Well I agree. My current idea to that is, maybe none of the writers and Josh has ever had a stable relationship themselves irl, or they like every other teen TV show, thinks that young people can NEVER have a stable relationship for very long...let alone one where the partners are each other's sexy equal.

The thing is it's not like the writers haven't written Chair as sexy and hot before. It was like their forte in the previous season. And now it's like the completely forgot how to do it.
