BART BASS WILL DIE. IT'S SO OBVIOUS.
Not only is he being referred to in the past tense, Blair stands up to those richy-rich women and says that Chuck and Serena need her. Why else would Chuck and Serena both need Blair other than family troubles? Thats the only thing Chuck and Serena have in common. I really hope this is legit because it's a good script snippet and it shows some signs of Chuck and Blair getting along =].

Ok... That's what I think... If Blair and Chuck will really get together no one knows anymore, specially due to Blair's personality
Still she isn't in a relationship with Chuck, he is supposed to know what she feels about him
Instead of looking for her he will choose to be surrounded by other girls again
And once agani she might feel less or whatever she felt when she was with Nate, with Marcus and when she was going in a trip with Chuck and he left her to be with other girls too
I just dont know what the writers will do to, somehow, to put Blair and Chuck together after this
Blair is really worried all the time in keeping her pride
It would be easier for her to say "go to hell, I'm done with you" to Chuck than to decide she will wait for him

I don't know what the writers are about to decide, but i really think B should take a look around ad say goodbye to chuck. im a chair fan, maybe the chair biggest fan, but im a fan of blair too, and she should not feel bad all the time, i dont want her to.

Jack Bass, Chuck’s uncle that will stir up some trouble after Bart’s death. Also around mid point of the season, Jenny will finally be returning to school after her roller coaster ride in the real road. However, wherever Jenny goes there trouble and she will again to battling the mean girls according to Kristin at E!Online.
Here’s what’s going to happen in next couple of episode airing in January and February:
2.14
Chuck has a hard dealing with his father’s death, and runs away to Bangok. He gets drunk in a bordello there, and his uncle Jack Bass bring’s him back to New York and to a worried Blair.
Jack tells Lily he want to be Chuck’s legal guardian.
Chuck gets in trouble at school smoking hash, Jack, Chuck and Blair attend a meeting with headmistress Queller about this, the headmistress wants to forget the whole incident if Chuck, doesn’t smoke again (in school), but instead he lights up a joint in the office.
Blair defends Serena, Lily and Chuck to the Colony Club an elite group of women Blair wants to joins, but opts out because of their cattiness.2.15
Chuck finds out at his father’s will reading that he is the now the CEO of Bass Industries, so that’s why Jack wants to be his guardian! Jack is upset by this. Chuck also agrees that Jack can be his guardian, based on Jack rule of no curfew and that he will allow Chuck to have girls sleep over!
Chuck uses his father’s office to entertain Jessica and Olivia. Dressed in boxers with drugs on the desk, the board arrives for a meeting only to be disgusted, they then leave. We will meet David Schneiderman the head of the board of directors who is obviously suspicious that Bart isn’t working and isn’t surprised by Chuck’s display because of his reputation.
It’s true Lily and Rufus had a son, they try to contact him and meet with an adoption lawyer Miles, but can’t because their son had to register at a search service for them to contact him since it was a closed adoption. Rufus is upset because Lily never told him she was pregnant. Miles agrees though to contact the parents to see if they would be willing to meet with Lily and Rufus.
Miles meets with Lily and Rufus’s son’s adoptive parents, Renee and Chris Rosson. Renee knew the birth mother would eventually want to meet her son. Renee is emotional and can’t agree to meet with Lily and Rufus.
But Chris the adoptive father does, and tells Lily and Rufus about their son Andrew…. Unfortunately, we will never meet him, because….he died in a sailing accident he and his friends jumped in the water, but Andrew was swept away in a riptide. This is why Renee didn’t want to meet them to tell them about it. Chris hands them a newspaper clipping from the accident. Lily is very emotional about the news; she asks if her son was happy. Chris tells her he always smiled. Rufus puts his around around Lily to comfort her. Chris also hands them a plaque with Andrew’s handprint. He made it at school as a child for Mother’s Day and Renee wanted Lily to have it.

thanks for posting this. cant wait for these episode. gossip girl just gets juicier and jucier. wonder what other mischief will jack stir in the UES.

Blair and Chuck will not reunite. Since Bart's death, Chuck will be deeply devastated and he will run away to Bangkok and get drunk.
Then, at school, he will get in trouble for smoking hash. Headmistress Queller will tell him that if he never does it again at school, she will forget the whole incident. But... Chuck lights up a joint in her office.
He will chose Jack as his guardian because he allows him to have girls sleepover and arrive at late hours.
The board of Bass Industries will find him entertaining two girls dressed in boxers with drugs.
So... Blair will not get together with Chuck, at least until episode 15.

i think our hopes were already on episode 15, mine were. 2.12's promo seemed fine for the couple, but we know that probably (well, almost certainly) bart will die after the ball or during it, so chuck will totally distract from blair looking for comfort (if bordellos or drugs can be called comfort) far from her. i think (at least i hope) he will later understand that she is the comfort, not anyone or anything else..
