for example? apart from the catfight with serena, which was fake, i can't think of anything. maybe the party in 2x19 during her spiraling phase, but.. she just said some insulting things, can't really be compared.
well, to me, she's a pimp, so it is similar, lol. i know there was the manipulating in the IP etc, but i still think she wouldn't pimp anyone for her own benefit if she was horrified by it.
and i meant that blair slept with jack willingly before, so i'm sure that was one of the reasons why chuck decided to go through the IP.

Chuck knew she wouldn't do it willingly then or at least only in sacrifice to him. That's why he set it up conspiring with Jack (his worst enemy) against the supposed love of his life. You really think these things are similar? What?
She clearly was horrified by the IP. It's been her only storyline. She talked to Nate, addressed it with him, and he's fine with it apparently. Manipulation and scheming is part of Blair. However, she'd never do anything like the IP.
Jenny did the same to Nate in season 1? Is Jenny a pimp? I thnk it's happened a few times more on the show as well. The captain and Anne did it to Nate too, but in a far more manipulative and destructive manner. In a sense, didn't Chuck say he'd help Jenny get Nate to screw with Nate and Serena for his own goals? Wasn't that absolutely the same thing, except far more underhanded than what Blair is doing here. Blair asks Nate to sleep with a beautiful woman, telling him about what it could gain her. Far different from the IP.
As far as I'm concenred the only true pimp or emotional abuser on the show is Chuck. He sold someone without their knowledge or regard from them (someone who had been hugely supportive and giving to their own detriment with them) for personal gain. Then he tried to blame her for it. These things don't even seem to be in the same stratosphere

Pimping also implies control, which Blair does NOT have over Nate. And of course, Al is right about we don't know what goes down actually in the ep. I feel pretty safe in saying that it and the IP will be in no way even close to the same thing.

Okay, Blair's making a scene record:
Making scenes at high society parties: 1x02, 1x09, 2x05, 3x18; Making scenes at school (with headmasters, etc observing it): like, all the time at high school, 4x05; Making scenes: whenever possible.
Blair tries to be in control, but most of the time she just really isn't, which is okay.
No, the point of the IP, the thing that is so gross about it, is not the pimping only, it's the betrayal. If Chuck had asked Blair to do it for him and she'd have gone through with it, I still would think it's awful and not exactly the portrayal of a healthy relationship; but the thing that was so bad about it, the thing that hurt Blair that much was the manipulating- and 'making her believe it was her own desicion'-part.
There's a difference between what happened there and "Go lay my boss, so she ain't that uptight all the time".
...So, you're saying that Blair sleeping with Jack before justified Chuck's desicion? Why exactly?

Yeah, especially since Chuck deliberately manipulated Blair to get it to happen so he knew she wouldn't be cool with it. It's also that they were in a relationship, btu really the manipulation and how little he valued Blair is the killer thing. He emotionally destroyed Blair and their relationship for financial gain.
Since Blair and Nate aren't together, and Nate uh, has been around the block a time or two, I don't think this necessarily suggests any lack of respect for Nate on Blair's part. Blair will scheme to get what she wants? Not news. However, she isn't scheming against Nate here at all apparently.
