What's going on with GG? The writers are ruining this show...
I previously posted this in spoiler TV.
Serena and Dan are over. And most people is glad because the writers destroyed that couple (CB is going on the same path and they haven’t had anytime as a real couple). Darena were popular and kind of cute in season 1. Serena is gorgeous but stupid. This Gabrielle is the second scumbag she'll date (let's not forget Aaron). What's with that? She can't do better than Dan??? Are they kidding? The girl is blond, pretty, smart and rich. What's her problem with men? Dan- They gave him a stupid SL with that Rachel. To be honest I don't like him very much. And the writers are not making him more tolerable, on the contrary, with the way he treats Serena, I like him even less.Nate was clueless but endearing in season 1. Now he's plain annoying. It's awful to watch what they have done to his character. He had become a man-whore in season 2. It's kind of weird that even tough Chuck is THE player of GG, we still like him and give excuses for the way he is (he's practically worse than Nate). But we like Chuck but not Nate. I mean we justify Chuck's behaviour but hate nate's. I think is because Chuck is honest and straight forward about who he is. But Nate just comes across rather flicky. He just fall in love all over the place (well infatuated) And now the writers are making it worse by putting him btw CB. People now hate him! That's not improving his character.Vanessa- I would say there's only 10% or less of viewers who actually like her. Most of the fans plainly hate her or could care less about her. We (yeah I’m one of those fans) usually regard her as a waste of screen time. Instead of fixing that (meaning firing her) they just give her more screen time in a hopeless attend to make her more likeable. Simply put...we don't like her and I doubt we'll change our mind anytime soon. Usually when a character is not popular, other shows just get rid off the actor and introduce new 'regular' (not guests) character to the show. That's not the case of GG. Jessica must be the long-lost lovechild of John or Savage.Chuck- Not the same guy after 2.13. Loved the episode by the way but nothing in GG is the same after that episode. Particularly CB has been the same after that episode. I won't say anything else because everything has already been said. But i hate the whole Elle SL. She rejected him so only after that is that he realises he loves B? What??? his consolation price is Blair? his second best? Now he's gonna fight for her!!! so exciting.... Wow that's Love!!! (sarcasm)Blair- She's the new 'old' Serena. Now she gets drunk (NYE, 2.18) and have sex with the person closer to her (it doesn't matter who...C's uncle, C's archenemy). She's another one who exudates love for C. She'll demonstrate that by going back to his C's BFF AGAIN. Of course after hooking up with the uncle and archenemy. B has not mature at all. Instead of growing up a little bit she regresses. We love manipulative and conniving Blair, but she can still grow up or step up the ladder in the manipulation. She should set her sight higher than a HS prof or her high school minions. I'm not forgetting Rufly. Rufus this season is plain boring.
Lily- she was planning on going on a romantic getaway the day after her fourth husband funeral....I say it all! And now the lost lovechild is supposed to be in HS? What he's almost the same age or a year older than Serena? Lily went from an adoption to marrying another guy and getting pregnant i just a few months after the adoption? What the hell is wrong with the writers???Though Lily redeemed herself in 2.16. I still can get pass her previous indiscretions and bad choices. And she's supposed to be the adult!Ohh I was forgetting Lily's awesome advice to serena in 2.13. Go away with Aaron for the Christmas holiday and live your brother by himself cause she was living too. She just said that to serena to keep her away from Dan so we could be with Rufus. The woman is sooooo selfish! She could care less about S and E. Her sight is always in who'll be the next victim!Wow! I wasn't planning on writing all this but i couldn't stop myself once i started. I didn't realise until now how disappointed I'm with this show. But I solely blame the writers for destroying such good character. S, N, B, C, D all of them were awesome in season 1 and first part of season 2 (except Nate, he has sucked all season 2). I need it to get it out. All this is just my opinion!!! It's not my goal to offend anybody

i just hate the fact that B is the one who screws up every time. she's the one who lost YALE after working 10 times HARDER than that stupid Nelly Yuki who betrayed B's trust again and again. [stealing dan's phone? turning Blair to miss queller, anyone? ]and SHE's the one who has to fix serena every time. and yet Nobody's here to help her. What's wrong with the writer?
where the hell is Chuck? chasing after some stupid slut who doesn't even care less about him? and why the hell blair is hooking up with carter?
This is madness. seriously. i mean after 2x19 we even got to see a totally bizarre reunion of NB which digusts most Chair fan. yeah the picture looks sweet. but chair looks a zillion hotter and more steamy than this childhood kiss. so the writers are so talented in ruining the show. bravo.

You're so right with the Elle/Chuck/Blair thing. I dont understand how people can think it's something so good. Does Chuck need people to tell him to follow his heart EACH time for him to think about Blair, or else he has totally forgotten about her? Ok, I dont think he neccessarily ever has done that, but it's way better if he realizes it himself. It's like after everything doesn't go his way, he turns to Blair, and always when it's too late.
Nate..don't get me started. But I totally agree with you.
Dan/Serena..YEAH! Why cant they just give Serena a good guy? After evreything the girl's been through, they must make Dan look as the good one?
I wont say anymore, dont want to think about how they're ruining the show.

Couldnt say better... they are ruining the show. the ellen sl is the worst... I love chuck and blair, but couldnt they think anything better to make chuck realize that he loves blair?
