    Whether it's true or not, I can totally understand why she'd want out. Serena is so terribly written, especially compared to how she was in season one.

    I see why she wants out. Its justified. But there's something to be said for loyalty as well. How she complain about a lack of good plots and writing (for S), when she doesn't do justice to the parts that are given? Its a two way street. Slacking off, just cause you think you're "too good" isnt okay. As we've seen from her movies, she is good. Gossip Girl put her on the map, and she needs to respect that, and the art she helps make. She's being a little less than kewl, by going public with these feelings.
