   apparently chace crawford is finding it difficult to commit to gossip girl so hes taking on a new project called footloose talks a bit about it at the end of this article

   Hmm, i wouldnt want him to leave the show at all!! :(, even if he is boring hes nice to look at and attract casual viewers.

    

   The only good thing about that would be no nair yay!

   Wtf, him doing "Footloose" is a rumour. His rep said he wasn't doing it.

   If he leaves, GG is done.

   I hate to say it but I think if any of the cast is disposable it would be nate..... Supposedly after him and Blair break up it's supposed to be the end of them I would like to see him and S get together.  However he wasn't in episodes this season and it didn't really bother me.  Actually the SL they gave him in the last few story lines make me wish he wasn't in the show. I really wish they would have made him a better friend to chuck. Chuck was always there for him and N wasn't really there for him through his father's death. I think they need to figure out a better SL for him next season.  I don't think he will leave and if he does I think its a bad career decison.  I mean his acting is mediocore at best.  Gossip girl has given him a lot of stardom.  I think it would be stupid for him to leave it for a movie remake. It's not like the second one is going to be as epic as the first probably more like a fail.....

   nnooo... Chace is to hot to leave the show... he is the hottest guy(i still like Chuck/Ed better though) on the show... though he doesn't really contribute much to most of the plots, he is still nice to look at.

   Chace only auditioned for the Footloose remake. It's not even confirmed that he got the part. Plus, he wouldn't want to leave GG because it's what gives him recognition to the public. I mean, did anyone actually go out and see "The Haunting of Molly Hartley"? I didn't think so. He has a good thing going for him right now and I don't think he would just throw it away. (Mischa Barton anyone??)

   The producers know that A LOT of people like to drool at Chace Crawford while wathcing GG. (Myself included) It wouldn't be the same without him. Even if they do give him sucky SL at times.

   So that article is complete bullshit. And should be treated as such.

    Noo, even though he isnt my number one favorite character, i dont want him to leave. Then there will be no Non Judging Breakfast Club:(

    But im pretty sure he is staying, and that they did sign a contract or 6 seasons.
