i think we will never experience that.
I don't think they'll reveal GG's identity. If they do it'll be a ratings stunt, and unless they reveal it to be Serena or Jenny or someone significant, it'll end up being a massive anti-climax anyway. Even having Penelope or one of the mean girls as GG would be a massive let down. It's best remaining a secret.
I think that Gossip Girl is somebody from their social circle-I mean, a person who is also attending all these parties etc., but who is never shown. I don't think her identity will be revealed though.
All I know is that after starting to watch Pretty Little Liars, GG is boring compared to "A" (havent finished the show...nospoilz pls)
Or maybe it would boost a drowsy audience! I mean, GG is being a massive let down nowadays, excepting the Dan-Blair surprise (and nobody would have ever thought about this pairing two seasons ago). Who knows how the storylines will develop next season (the last one I reckon), but I think that the possibility of the revealing of GG can be refreshing. Of course it will have to be well managed, but in my opinion it'd be a nice surprise.
And Penelope or Katie or some other mean girls are well beloved, aren't they? in terms of having a big storyline in the future, I think they are. But the writers should start to give some hints soon, and they don't seem to be that bright ¬¬
It's best remaining a secret.
Aren't you curious at all? I mean I've been wondering since s1e1 so I don't know about you but it's really bothering me that they neglected the whole story. I mean in the books they are at least some clues and hints..
(and nobody would have ever thought about this pairing two seasons ago).
No, they've been thought about for awhile, it just seems bigger now because this season finally developed their relationship more
"DARE TO DAIR" was posted in 2009, I think
Or maybe it would boost a drowsy audience!I don't think it would do that. That we don't know who GG is, is one of the fundamental principles of the books and show. To undermine that and completely re-frame the premise of the show only for it to be about a secondary character, would be a massive let-down for me. If they reveal the ID of GG before the final episode then it needs to be one of the major characters in my opinion. The other way they could reveal the identity would be to do it right at the end, and show it to be somebody completely anonymous, but then flash back to lots of different iconic GG scenes, showing this person in the background each time.
Aren't you curious at all?
Oh yes I'm curious. The identity of Gossip Girl is one of the few intriguing and potentially shocking aspects of the show. That's also a very good reason why they shouldn't reveal that secret.
I'm curious as to who it is... but if I had to choose whether to know who he/she is, I wouldn't want to!
The whole show is about finding out who he/she is... not knowing who he/she is.
