'17 seconds' and season 6 finale

   I was watching the episode "17 seconds" from season 2 and something Derek says to george was really ironic.

   DEREK: "Can you imagine? You're working, and someone comes in and shoots you.

   little does he know 2 years later that exact thing is going to happen to him. weird or what! I wonder if shonda rhimes knew then what she was going to do in season 6?
