    I'm thinking... if there is a kiss or not, Meredith wil see it and of course make wrong conclusions (couse Derek just wouldn't kiss Addie, not with the ring and all) and break up with Derek.

    Or maybe they just did that so people would think "OH, MY GOD!!!!!", like with Rose saying she's expecting Derek's baby, but in the end it won't be such a big of a deal.

    I think Meredith will think that Derek's cheating on her with Addison - you know - she found the rose leaf that the news that Addison's in the hospital and than the kiss - i would think the same if I was her.
