I know! I'm happy we're seeing the other side of Derek. It's time for Meredith to be the strong one. It's been McDreamy with the perfect hair for too long.
It's really mean, they show a ring, they show a set up proposal and then... BAM! Nothing.

Well, there are 24 episodes this season. Hopefully the proposal will happen in episode 19...I'm guessing there won't be a MERDER wedding this season.
The wedding that Shonda is probably referring to is Mark and Lexie (Blah). Still a little annoyed about them right now.
And it would be great if Meredith fixed Derek and Mark the way Derek fixed her and Christina.

I'd be disappointed if there was a mark and lexie wedding instead of merder. How many seasons do you think there'll be?

they are under contract for 7 seasons.
