It took me a lot of time to digest this episode. I just finished write at the blog’s editors.
I hated loved this episode.
Hated because Derek was is so much pain, so lost. He’s so generous, so kind and given. He was completely sorry and lost. It was devastated to see. I could not watch the fight scene at the first time. I hated it.
But, thinking better, I think it could make Mark and Derek even after all. Mark slept with Addison. Derek and Addison’s marriage wasn’t good. But still it was a betrayal to Derek. And now Derek did a terrible thing. But because he loves Mark. Mark is his brother. Unfortunately something we do bad things to people we love. Because we can trust him to forgive us eventually. I hope Meredith and Lexie could work to get the boys back to their friendship now. Even to be one of the other best men.
I still hate seen Derek so lost.
And off course Meredith was there for him. I know she will. I trust her, love her. But still don’t need to see him like this.
What I truly hated love… how terrific actor Patrick Dempsey is. It’s not easy to pull off the dreamy guy, to be that loveable. For sure it isn’t. Although it’s seams so natural to him that we didn’t think about. But it is not. Even more difficult, is to make that trustfully dreamy man and perfect doctor fail. Fall. And Patrick did it so well that I still have to say: I hated to see Derek so lost.
Patrick is one of the God-like actors they’ve talked about. They just need to give him material to play. And just sit and wait for award after award after award…

he was really werid in that epsiode like greys antomy is my life said he losed his mcdreamyness i remebered the last few episodes and he was alright mean he was gonna propse (sorry not good at spelling)
Buuut he quit his job in episode 17 and im he might not go back. Well not leaving the show but not doing surgey.

Derek to me seems tired of it all. Like Izzie. I think they need changes in their lives.
But I have to admit, I LOVED the fight between Derek & Mark. WOAH! I was on the edge of my seat. That was awesome.
I don´t believe for a moment that Derek hit Mark because of Lexie. He doesn´t feel that strongly for Lexie. He had a really bad day with no sleep. He screwed up on the surgery and blamed himself. Couldn´t fix it and everyone refused to let him go on. He feels like he failed again. And he was called a murderer. Then Mark came up to him, told him he had gone against his wishes with Lexie and it was like old wounds for a second were ripped out and everything came out. All frustrations, all anger and all hurt he´s been surpressing for years. He was back to that state where everything was present. Including old stuff like Addison sleeping with Mark that set everything rolling. Everything up to present happenings. And he needed to vent. And there was Mark, giving him that one tiny little push that was left before he went over the edge.
I thought it was brilliant and I loved that they had Addison there as well, showing that he had surpressed far too much for far too long.
I cannot wait to see the next episode!!!

Of course he didn't hit Mark bc of Lexie. He was upset and Mark telling him gave him an excuse to take his anger out.
