Background Music is TOO LOUD!!!
-
The backgound music is way too loud - to the point that we cannot hear the actors and/or dialogue. This needs to be fixed, or my wife and I will become NON-watchers of the show. We can't hear what is going on half the time - so why watch it. We do understand that the background music adds to the suspense and/or emotion of the show, any show, but when it covers up the conversation the plot is lost!! Fix it PLEASE.

I totally agree with you! It is no longer a pleasant exerience watching Grey's beause of the loud background music. I don't know of any other show that has music this loud. It makes it impossible to hear the conversation!

I think its has to do with shows on ABC channel 7 because Brothers and Sisters, Private Practice, and Grey's has the same problem the back ground music is too loud.

It is a problem on ALL channels,All shows --anything on TV. Some are worse than others. Most of the "advice" is "buy this" , but no guarantee it will be fixed.

The loud music one is bombarded with in most tv programs is madness. Most of the time, the dialogue is inaudible and the music totally inappropriate. We can not tolerate that irritating din when we watch tv, so we find programs that don't subject us to this. Producers, get rid of that annoying noise!!

Yup, WAY too loud - couldn't hear a THING the actors were saying! Too much music anyway... I'm watching to watch the SHOW, not hear "new" music!

The Gates is also bad for this. We definately will not bother watching next season.
Surely the tv stations are aware of the complaints. Don't they realize this will have an impact if it's allowed to continue.
