Background Music is TOO LOUD!!!

I cannot watch Hallmark movies anymore. The background music
is MUCHTOO LOUDDDDD.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. Private practice is the worst. I am ready to stop watching the show.
It wouldn't be as bad if it didn't have lyrics. HOW ANNOYING. Especially for thos using closed captioning.
PLEASE STOP THE MUSIC WITH LYRICS AND LOWER THE VOLUME. It isn't even good music!

I used to watch every show. Not anymore. The loud music in the background has turned me off, and I turn the program off.

Absolutely agree about the music being too loud. Besides turning up the music at the most dramatic parts, the director lets the actors get away with whispering their best lines. I'm sure the sound man can hear it in his headphones, but we listen at home with competing ambient noise, and we don't stand a chance.
C'mon Shonda, how many people have to make this same complaint before you hear us? Or can't you hear us because THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD?

I hate trying to hear the spoken parts on Grey's Anatomy. I have to constantly rewind and play again...some tiems over and over. Who can I contact to express my concern?

This is a wide spread problem lately. One that comes to mind is the 2011 season of Torchwood because I complained to the BBC about it. I think we are seeing the effect of gen Y's who think they are "cool" taking over production. They probably don't even see it as a problem because they are only watching to look at the cute chicks or hot guys.To Greysanatom:Posted 2/6/2011 8:58:34 AM, you are a perfect example of the above mentioned gen Y's. Turn down the music or turn it off on Private Practice and other programs!!!! I can't hear the dialogue. If it continues, I'll just have to quit watching these programs.

Absolutely true, Love the show but the background music gives me a headache. Straining to listen to the dialogue is ridiculous.

the so called music & sound effects are so loud you cant understand what is said . all this annoying noise gives me a headach.i will cancil my cable soon if nothing is done.
