How can she say yes to his marriage proposal when she thinks she doesn't know him.

or maybe Derek overhears someone say that Mark is sleeping with "Grey" and he thinks it's Meredith.

the title for next week is "an honest mistake", so who knows!!

Just watched it online. Thought it was really sad at the end when Derek and Addison were singing the song at the end. Derek seemed really cut up about Addison and his marriage breakdown but I know he loves Meredith.

I don't get it. On surfthechannel there's only one episode - and it last for 42 minutes. Wasn't there supposed to be a two hours epsiode?

    McNorway -

i think on surfthechannel the episodes for this one are under grey's anatomy for the first hour and private practice for the next one.

as for the episode, i have 3 words and a symbol. Christina and Owen <3

There was no MerDer! What the hell?

That wasn't as good as I hoped. I think Meredith has every right to feel upset about not knowing Derek's past. I think Derek has changed and she knows the new Derek. I hope they work it out!

Someone said before that Derek looked torn up about the divorce when he was in the bar. I think he just missed his friends but he has no regrets with Meredith.

Here's my take--I like this crossover episode--My favorites:#1 -- George.  You gave us more than 20 seconds of George.  THANK YOU!!!!   God, I love George.  When he forced Sadie to step up and quit, that was the right thing to do.  Now she won't hurt any patients, thank goodness.  Unfortunately, I think she's already done some damage with Izzie-- we just don't know it yet.#2 -- The window into Der's past.  Addie being back.  The writers did well here.  There was this combination of feeling really interested in knowing what Der was like before, of knowing what he and Addie started like, but at the same time there was this tugging feeling like it was all just not right anymore.  Like the writers described-- looking at an old photograph of yourself and friends years ago.  This sweet, sad nostalgic feeling, but also a feeling like you don't even want to be that person anymore.  Beautifully portrayed.  Love Addie.  Having her back was bittersweet.  I love her, but also look forward to her going back to LA so MerDer can move on with their new life together!#3 Alex talking to Addie.  I liked this scene.  I liked that Alex could show his true self with Addie.  I really do love Alex and understand where he's coming from in assuming Izzie's just going crazy (hello? b/c everyone in his life has gone to the coo-coo's nest!) BUT this shows EXACTLY what I've thought all around-- Alex is genuinely not enough for Izzie.  He wasn't when Denny was.  He wasn't after Denny was gone (he was a good friend to her at moments, but he is just not consistent) and he still isn't.  Instead of worrying about what's wrong w/ her, he's worrying that he's gonna have to deal w/ another crazy chic and how that would affect him.  Self-absorbed as ever.  And he's a doc-- her motor skill issues should definitely be tipping him off that there could be a physiological issue- maybe not just psychological.  At least enough to ask someone for advice about what's going on with her.  He's just not taking care of her enough.  I can't wait for George to step in and say "enough is enough".  And Addie, if Addie hadn't been so distracted by what was going on, she might have thought to ask Alex about what Izzie's doing, but you can't blame her-- her brother was as close to death as you can get!#4 - I loved Bailey with Sam.  Bailey seemed her old self 100%.  Comfortable with Sam.  Sam is the only one from LA (besides Addie) that seemed like he could just fit in and stay at SGH forever.  Funny, but with a lot of depth.  I have watched PP off and on, but today at SGH I finally saw Sam.  He was great.  And Bailey, as always, was fantastic!#5 - PP's post-partum story.  I cried.  After my second son was born, I had what my doc's called a "very bad" case of post partum depression.  Not to the point of psychoses or hurting my child, but all the emotional parts and the guilt.  I did the same thing when I sought help from medical professionals-- saying over and over that I loved my son.  I was half trying to convince myself.  I was so sleep deprived and so anxious that I couldn't sleep when I had the opportunity, just like this patient.  It was SO painful.  B/f I had this I always thought that the whole post-partum diagnosis was just bogus.  It is SO NOT!  Kudos to the PP writers here-- you did this justice.  To the point where I was bawling!#6 - I have to add Hunt in here.  Although, he makes me hold my breath.  In a good way.  But I am still just watching and waiting to see this all.  So far so good.  I just want to make sure that Shonda and writers do it justice-- not just from the emotional point of view (which is hard enough to understand and capture), but also from respecting our soldiers for the amazing thing that they are-- our freedom fighters (even though they very typically are so humble and don't want to be called hereos).  So far, so good.  But still holding my breath.  This storyline is really advancing Cristina's character-- she is growing.  I am enjoying that.OK, I'm sure there's still more.  But those are the biggies for me.Looking forward to next week!

I liked the crossover. I love Addison. And I think we miss her energy in SGH. I liked the medical cases. Even the interns’ game. Ok.Derek’s past, his friends. His life after. Ok.But, quoting Owen, we’re in before. In before there’s Meredith. It would be just right to show Derek talking to her, telling her about Addison’s brother and everything. This is what couple does. They talk to each other.I understand write an episode and condense all the plot to be interesting and make sense isn’t easy. But that’s what they do, isn’t it? I ask them (writers) to think about what one of us would do. A caring son, as Derek, would’ve welcomed his mother with a kiss (Sympathy for the Devil). And a caring boyfriend, soon to be fiancée, would’ve called Meredith and talked to her. Simple like that. We need simple bits of real life, like morning kisses, phone calls, lunch together and regular meetings through the hospital. This would have been a great episode if wasn’t so distant from the last one. And the connection could have been done simply with Derek calling Meredith and telling he’s going back to the hospital to see Addison’s brother. She knowing about by the Chief was completely unreal in a solid strong couple live.

And I didn’t say anything about Izzie and George before. But George is a great character, the show misses his humanity. And Izzie is still lost, I hope you could make her find her way back cause we miss her joy and optimism.

Still hoping for a “house of candles” “bedroom full of roses” proposal!
